Accusing another of "big lying" is a fairly serious thing. Do you really wish to do so?

At any rate, email received 27th of Month N, from general CIC email address (donotreplay@) requesting medicals with attached forms.

Notification received from Sydney roughly two weeks later notifying of transfer to local visa office.

No communication of any kind received from local visa office for several months after that.

If you don't wish to take this as proof that the information you provided (medicals always only AFTER transfer to local visa office) is WRONG, you can go jump in a lake. (I say this only because you accused me of lying with no basis)

Other forum participants can make their own decisions about which information is more credible.

They’re all confused where the file go. Because they don’t read clearly email. Update the photo to make sure you proof is legit.

Nonsense. Your original claim was "If you get medical request that’s mean the file already in the visa office. The biometric is from Canada IRCC. Medical request from visa office."

As I've shown, time-wise this is not true; email from general CIC address - the exact same email address used for biometric request (of same date), and well before any indication that "visa office" (out of country) was involved. I've seen my GCMS notes, and timeline of which office was processing and file transfers does NOT correspond to your claim.

Why argue this? Your claim was wrong. No big deal. Sometimes medical request done from visa office, sometimes from Sydney/central.

My question is, is it also possible Sydney began working on the Applicant Eligibility?

You file is at visa office that’s why they requested medical exam. Only the visa office in the country you file in will processing your file. I got Medical request 1 month after applying, there is no way they sent to Visa Office. Also when they send to VO, you get an email.

I do not know for certain but I believe Sydney can certainly initiate criminality checks, esp the parts which are just database checks and requests to police bureaux of eg USA AUS NZ UK.

My impression has been from some files that Sydney can also have someone do an initial review of eligibility (as they also evaluate sponsor I believe). This may not be a full check or what some refer to as eligibility check - just a pro forma review of the docs in the app (they are spouses, prior divorces documented, etc), and I presume again database checks for basic stuff (the applicant is not already a PR or citizen, for example, basic checks against travel records and previous visa apps, etc).

Not surprising as this is presumably also part of their sorting process ie to which visa office to send.

This seems to be documented with a short summary that may also flag issues to be looked at (eg note both applicant and sponsor married before) . Then visa office uses that summary to do the 'full' eligibility check. Obviously a simple summary with fewer flags is probably an easier file.

Note, this is only my reading between lines and educated guesses from info here and gcms notes I've seen, there almost certainly is variation in procedures.

I have One question.. my bank account have shown my address of my parent's side.In Financial document, I have to show these bank details too. So my ques is whether i have to change my address before taking statement of my account or it is ok as it's.
