Can you share your timeline?? What do you mean when you wrote not even an acknowledgment?? Has your spouse done biometrics and passed medicals??
Sent my application towards end of July, they got it on Aug 3rd 2019. I waited 3 months and never got any update or info. Finally sent an email to my local MPP in Nov who put a request in for me to get an update. They were told they have received my application and are working on it and if any update is available they will let me know. I emailed them in Jan 2020 and they told me my application is still waiting to be processed. To this day no reply or update from them. Came to visit my wife in March then Covid hit and been here with her for 4 months now as no one can leave or get into the country. Just wished I got an AOR so I can link the application online.
How is this possible to not even receive an AOR or a SA (Sponsor approval) What country is your spouse from not that it plays any role. Have you spoken to them via telephone? Have you linked your application on gckey or ecas??
She is from Saudi Arabia. I have spoken to them via email only, can't link my application as I have not gotten anything. I asked them that also they said still in processing. Once I can get back into Canada will speak to my MPP again and hope they have an answer for me better than last time.
I hope you get an answer soon , it must be very frustrating for you especially with no response from them close to a year. My thoughts and prayers for a quick outcome.

I can understand your frustration it’s absolutely understandable. Unfortunately this COVID-19 situation has brought everything to a stall stalI can understand your frustration it’s absolutely understandable. Unfortunately this COVID-19 situation has brought everything to a stall ,I read somewhere on the forum that a member talked with IRCC and was informed that when COVID-19 is under control they will resume all applications.I’m assuming that should be sometime in the very close future.

Did medical exam in Nov 2019.
ECAS changed to "processing" on Jan 30, 2019 just like you.
CSQ was granted March 3, 2019
(we received the letter for CSQ on March 21, 2019)
Radio silence since then... I guess we will get our results at similar times? Hopefully news soon!

Wait a minute. You sent your application in last July 2019, almost a year ago, and still have not received an AOR? That does not sound right at all. There is no way after a year they haven’t opened it and at least determined whether or not it’s complete to either give you an AOR or return it to you as incomplete.
