I'm a Permanent resident living in Canada, got married in January, my spouse got all the document ready with her in india, she can send it right now due to covid 19 no , is it okay to tell her to send all the document like police verification, marriage invitation and all other form signed and send in digital copy then i can take a color copy and I sign and submit it, is that okay or how you guys doing it right now ?

My spouse is in India too and I was told by my consultant IRCC doesn't accept digital copy.

does any of august applicant got any update from the ndvo after your file got transfered there? i heard ndvo is open and have resume the visa applicantion but is it also open to process the canadain spouse sponsorship too? or its open only to work, student and temporary visa applicant?

I just looked at the ECAS tool and my application status there now shows as “Decision Made”! No change in detail in the GCKey account. How long does it take before that shows up for people? I swear I read about this somewhere here in the forum.

I applied in July 2019, did roughly similar timelines (medicals in Nov / passed in Dec, and the case moved to "processing" on Jan 30)
I can tell you that since Jan 30 there have been zero news... and if you look at May, June, July threads, we are mostly waiting for updates.
So probably COVID related!

I am an August outland applicant I am in the USA with my canadian fiance. Our lease is up and he is headed back to Canada after 14 years on July 24th. I am waiting on my PR approval. Our kids and I plane tickets for July 26th to go visit him for 5 months and hopefully my application will then be approved in that time. My question is has anyone ever done that?
Also would I inform the office taking care of my application of the address we will be staying at in Canada?
