Hi Team, Urgent Help needed Please.

I came to Canada on work permit on 7th March 2019, but system auto-calculated my 1 year on Feb 1 2020 and sent me the invite on Feb 5th. Can i accept the invitation now and submit the docs after 7th March 2019 ?
FYI - I was stuck on 462 till end of jan - 2020. But due to system auto calculation of 1 year on feb 1, I got extra 35 points and the score updated to 497.
Hi,

until when your work permit validity? if you have enough time to wait until March then might as well until you complete the minimum 1 yr

My work permit is valid till 1 april 2021. You mean I should decline invite ? Or accept it and submit after 7th march.

I am worried regarding one issue as Technically i will complete 1 year on March 7 2020 and I got the invite before but that is because system calculated it.

Might as well to be safe. You can ask other members but since you have enough time maybe you should wait. I read from some thread that some people applied even if they only had 11 months work experience in Canada.

Hi ,I’m in a frustrating situation, I started working for my employer in April 2019 , I gave birth of my baby on July 2019 and I started 6 month maternity leave which ended on December 2019. Now I return back to my work, so does maternity leave counts toward my 1 year CEC, I was paied by EI.

No. But the weeks of work experience before your leave counts, you just need to complete 1 year of work.

Thank you for your reply, so in my express entry profile, should I leave a gap when entering my experience.

That´s one thing you can do to make sure the system counts your experience correctly (more or less).

One thing to mention, when I asked my company for an experience letter they said they won't mention the maternity leave in the reference letter as I was officially in the company, so should I let them mention it or I just can add it later on personal history.

It is better that your letter of reference is ACCURATE, so it should mention any leaves of absence. If they do not mention it, you can add a letter of explanation.

Hello.. did you accept the ITA?

I am also in a same position. I got ITA and my 12 months of experience will complete after 2 weeks. ShouldI accept the ITA or reject it?
I think you can accept it and submit the application after you complete the 1 year experience
