So I am in a sticky spot . I set up profile in Oct 2018 and received ITA with 11 months and 1 week work experience. I waited until Dec 2018 to submit my full application with over 1 year experience at this point.

My application has gone over the 6-month processing time and I just realized this 1 year MEC technicality by ITA date. I’m freaking out from this information! Does anyone have any recommendations? Should I submit a case specific request?
Gcms notes for sure you should order.
Call the IRCC call centre to speak to the agent to understand the status about your application. Ask them if your eligibility, criminality is reviewed and passed or otherwise and also check if the security has started and/or completed.
This will help you to understand what’s taking so long with your application, whether it is eligibility or security related review which are dragging your application for so long

Ordering GCMS notes will not bring attention to your application, it is handled by a different office.

Hi All, I am working as a full time employee for 40 hours ( a week) and so for i got 10 months of experience . I see "To be eligible for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class you must have completed, within the three years before you apply, at least: 12 months of full-time work:30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)" from online sources . if this is true i might be able to achieve 1560 hours by now. Is it safe to create a profile now?.
Please suggest!!

Hi there!

You could create your profile now as it is free to do so, but I'll suggest you just wait until you actually reach the 12 month mark! You are just 2 months away. Have you done the English exam yet and did you get a good score?

Hi there!

The fastest route and easiest route I'll suggest, is to apply through Express entry versus PNP. Have you done the English exam yet? So far, the lowest point invited has been anywhere between 440-462. It is hard to say and know when the points would drop below 430.

Hi alice17,
Thank you for your response, this Saturday I have the exam wish me a luck and after that I have to apply for EE but I don’t think with job offer and one year experience will be enough to apply.

Thank you again

If you do really well in the IELTS exam, then I think you'll be fine. Don't stress too much!

Hello everyone,

Would appreciate your advice; I started working to my current employer as part time while I was a student last June 2018, After I finished my studies on August 2018, I submitted my pgwp application and started working full time. I am about the create my EE profile. Will it affect my application if I indicate that my employment date starts from June 2018 or should I indicate that my employment started from August?

Thank you very much

I think it should be from the date you applied for the pgwp
