Not a problem... there's a grace period for using old forms. Otherwise it would have been difficult once one has finished preparing all documents and then there is an update of a form. Or when one spouse signs their forms and needs to send a form to another spouse in a different country for signatures, and then suddenly cic updates a form.
perhaps it depends on the immigration officer. In the summer, I read a lot of messages that the people who sent the documents received a request to send new forms (which were updated in a few months and even half a year after AOR1!!!)

Yes my spouse lives in St Kitts. We signed the forms in December, and i sent them 3 days ago to CIC. I hope they dont send it back just because of the imm0008 new update. Yesterday made 2months since we signed the forms. Itll cost apprx $200 for my husband to signed that new form and send it back to me. I truly hope this will not be the case.
refusal and return of documents will not be for this reason. but may be asked later to send a new version of the application (based on the experience of predecessors)

That is what i am asking, and hoping not. That it will be returned because of the imm0008 update.
I used 2019 forms as well. Got biometric, medical and sponsor approval on feb 14.
