Thank you for your prompt response. My FP request has just come through email. I’ll conduct my FP test with agency tomorrow.

@batterypk1 would you please kindly update my tracker status - FP request received Oct 30?

I sent my FP on Oct 9 but still not updated by cic in the system as mentioned by interviewer after the test. Worried why it took so long to just update as i already checked with RCMP and they told me they sent with in couple of days of my submission (Oct 11). If IRCC would have got FP my case was about to complete.

No. Not all applicants. Generally it's when they are having trouble identifying who you are when your name or some part of your information matches a criminal.

They may or may not ask you. Its depends if you bio matches with someone, they ask for FP to confirm identity.
