Hi guys,

We reside in Vaughan(GTA), however, my wife's fingerprints request indicate the results shall be sent to IRCC VANCOUVER, does anyone know the reason? It is actually pretty confusing.

Based on the historical trends IRCC Vancouver seems to be the central clearing office for citizenship FP reports.

P.S. I'm from Toronto and have been instructed to send my FP to IRCC Vancouver as well.

Hi guys,

I am in Ottawa and we have been asked to send FP to Scarborough office and later wrote our test at Ottawa. i was also surprised but seems its normal. I think background check is not staple with processing office.

It’s almost certain a fingerprint request. In your case I’d suggest contacting IRCC call center for follow-up and request the correspondence to be resent since it’s over a week.

I have the same issue and mine was sent on 22th Oct. Just sent out a webform request
