A question, for those who got FP request, do they send it by email or how does it work ?


Second question - For those who requested the notes CMSS (not sure the name), does it get updated right away ? how long you wait until you got this notes ? worth it to request that ?

I believe the FP office sends the FP to RCMP as a mail. Also, RCMP communicates the results to CIC as mail.

I believe you are referring to GCMS notes here. It might take a while for the updates to be reflected.

1. Yes they send an email and you have to bring the attached letter along with the list of items it has with you to your local rcmp or accredited fingerprint place.

2. GCMS is what you mean. When you request them they provide the notes on your file as of the day requested, approximately 31 days later.

I see that my Temporary Location now has announced its next visit January. 20th to 24th
However, I am out of town the first two days of that week.
Do you think IRCC can schedule me with the 22 23 24 th of that week or do you think they have set days for testing and oath?

I think anyone's guess is as good as yours, hard to know with IRCC. If you can't postpone your trip, maybe try the call centre first to see if they reveal any info before submitting a webform mentioning your absence. Good luck!
