than english only
but you still have enough time so no worries. eventually, i believe the score will go down
I am just not sure about timing and stuff. Like lets say the score will dip in May 2020. It takes 2-6+ months to get PR. Will I be okay even if my permit will be about to expire? I think I am stressing myself with no reason.

You are right. Rule sucks for PWGP holders. In order to get that job in PGWP, one have to compete with all domestic candidates, and recruiters always prefer them only. But still it needs LMIA to make it valid.
Here in Vancouver, employers seem really easy with helping PGWP holders get LMIA though. Don't get why $1000 would stop an employer from applying for LMIA.

*If you already work for the company for 1 year (my case), they don't even need to pay $1000.

You are working based on assumptions. There's no legal wrongdoing of choosing non-accompanying and then sponsoring the spouse later. There is no where in CIC website where it says you should NOT do this.

Your post is full of assumptions and it is really disappointing because as an immigration agent you should be clear to the facts. Why do you think half of Indian people would benefit from this? Do you have any stats saying most of the Indian spouses are lacking higher education and good level of English?
Hello , dnt rely on the twitter post , I dnt wana argue , but I want to tell my experience , as three of my friends did the same thing in September last year , there have not been any single reply or status updation on their profiles yet . nothing is mentioned in the rules that u can’t do this , but they are not in the favour of this . But , one guy recently got his PR , who did the same thing , but his wife was pregnant , and gave the reason that it’s not safe for her to travel , neither his baby could travel even if he or she is born before PPR

oh yeah you will be ok. you just need to apply for PR before your permit expires. then when you're waiting for PR you are taking a bridging work permit. so you don't have to worry at all. just bust your english score and stop stressing out lol

That isn't the case here, especially in IT industry. Not sure why it's easy in a different province. I worked with many companies like RBC and Apple in Toronto, but never seen any successful LMIA for software engineers.

The thing is most indian couples are over 30 ,hence they intend to do this to boost their points , IRCC is pretty much aware about it . You can try , but it’s tricky , I suggest you to give them a strong and a valid reason , in order to convince them , otherwise they I’ll put ur file ‘on hold ‘ , which would a long waiting game for u

Regarding the Indian thing you mentioned, the non-accompanying option only benefits those whom their spouses do not have higher education and/or language test. If the spouse has those two, then the lost points would be gained. If you are losing points due to age, you would still lose those points.

I do not know for fact that the immigration officer will accept or not. But based on the customer care IRCC, you saw their post.
We can only rely on someone who has mentioned and got PPR.

Hello, I have a question, If my husband is not coming with me to Canada through EE, can I still prove the funds including his bank account?

That truly sucks. Have you tried any PNP?

Again, I'm in BC so I know BP PNP is specifically looking for IT workers which, once you get nominated, gives you 600 points.

Just curious to know, for proof of funds, can I show my NRE account which I maintain back in India and not the salary account. Not showing a salaried account shouldn’t be a problem I guess, or is it ?
