True, I should have been specific (re: income earned from the institutions is not taxed in Canada). Also, I do completely agree with you that both issues are unrelated. My point though is, decades ago, I guess it was the same for taxes until an amendment happened.

Completely agree. My only worry is, there have been more cases of the court not dismissing the reviews, and I believe when this occurs, a change to the citizenship act should be proposed at some point, especially if these people continue to win at the FC. See another one...

She did not, the current OWP will expire in July, so we though 8 months is a long time. I guess it was a silly mistake. Anything we can do?

I applied on 8th June. Called them a couple of times, and they confirmed SIN issued and sent on 10th. However, nothing received yet. I am trying to figure out what the issue is. Called again last week and asked them to resend, I still haven't received it.
