As per my GCMS notes created on 27 aug that my BF date is 6 september. However I called 2 days back and status is still same. Eligibility recommend pass and security not started yet.
BF date means nothing, it is decided by the VO himself and he can assign new ones as many times as he likes. So its not a surprise that your status didn't change after the BF date

From what I understand, If u have been given a BF date they will look at your file around that date. Could be a few days here and there depending upon the VO work load.
And if your file is in queue without any BF date it could Be opened possibly any luck day.

Not always bro, you know how many BF dates passed without no one touching my files. It really means nothing. They can pick your file up whenever they want

Thats weird. You should be able to call and find out or email Ralph
PNP inland, contacting the local MP is better than contacting Ralph. Every MP will enquire the status for you, if you are in Canada.

I tried to understand the meaning of "BF date" and "DB date", but I didnt find what those letters are.
bring forward date, delay due date, due before date
A date your VO puts on the system. So if he puts December 1, 2019 (for example), on one can ask him to process your file before that date, he is free to keep the files. If on 30th November he feels like not working then he can change this date to December 15 or any date he prefers, without explaining to anyone. At the same time if he feels like working on your file tomorrow, he can do that too. Basically it doesn't mean anything most of the time. Most of the members here have had more than 3 of these dates

Thank you very much, this is valuable information. How do I know if I'm under security screening?
How do I know if I'm under security screening?
Sorry mate, can't comment on it because I don't know for sure, may be someone else will answer

Please is there anyone on here who has their Visa Office in Accra? I’m yet to see anyone from there get PPR, just curious.

Hi All,

I had a ghost update yesterday.
And until yesterday, on my profile, under Medicals, it said passed on April 3. But today, it says, “you do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes”

AOR feb 11
As of Sept 20:
Criminality in progress
Eligibility in progress
Security not started
FSW Inland
Now back to my home country.

My question is, has anybody experienced change in medicals status like mine?
Or any inputs from the experienced members about it?

I got medicals done in late 2018 so don’t think they expired yet. Why would they replace the passed status saying I don’t need one?

Thank you
Might be a glitch in the system, anyway keep an eye on your profile for any new messages. If medical is expired then they will ask you to submit a new one

It means it is under process and they need those documents to proceed further :) . CEC after studying in canada?
If you are in the Elite club, then normally these ADRs come at the last stage of your application. take care not to contradict any ifo you have provided before
Good Luck

Can we request a new BF date via webform? Do you think they would be receptive to such a request? If I'm interpreting my GCMS notes correctly, my BF date was months ago..

in that case make sure you provide the exct same details.
Ps: don't repeat the mistakes if there was any, also if there is any gaps in time line, close it

Yep. I completely agree with you brother. So I edit my statement.. in ideal situation on BF date the VO should pick up your file. This mostly doesn’t happen.. so it’s just a new target date for you to continue to be patient..

It is decided by the Visa officer processing the application. Only he can decide it. If you were asking about finding it, I think calling an agent is the only way, even then they can choose not to share.
According to my gcms (both) my due date was 26 June, then it was in July (found out from calling, only the first one was mentioned in GCMS). My file was not even opened on both these dates . then it was aug 13 or 16( eligiblity in RP), then sep 12 (postponed without any action). Then Sep 22. Called them on Sep 20 and they told me to get back in touch if don't hear anything by November.
Luckily got PPR few hours after that call
