It seems like serum creatine test is required for all and not just for high blood pressure, anyone on same boat? my parents got 160/105 first time then after that drop to 110/90. Doc said it is likely due to white coat syndrom but still we got serum creatine test
of course it is mandatory for high blood pressure because untreated blood pressure can permanently damage your kidneys, causing the creatinine levels to go up, this value is an indicator of the kidney function and they want to discard that your family member goes into dialysis or a transplant soon after their arrival, which would technically qualify as an excessive demand on the health system of Canada.
I hope the values are not high and everything goes well for your parents, don't worry about it, all will be well

oh by the way, in case someone was wondering, my application has been in process for a month as of yesterday, still nothing, and it was received on April 26th (first day), so people, just relax and stop complaining about not receiving anything yet as I'm sure there are lots of you that are way ahead of us and got their applications received after...

My mom had a medical test this June, and she got IME letter last week. Her doctor said he is not allowed to do the test again for her in such a short time gap. She needs to use the June results but not a new test. So I submitted her results by webform last week.

Did you get any updates regarding her medicals, does anything shows in CIC account as "medical received or passed" ?

My ECAS status is still showing "Application Received", but while checking CIC account, I see the following under additional document section "We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details." But there is no message in the account & no email about anything from IRCC.

Any idea what document they might need? or how long will it take for the message to be available in my account?

Thanks. Did doctor do any EKG ?, Did they say that they will test for serum creatanine and it is extra ? As we were not asked for any extra tests, I am worried if we will be called back again?
We live far away from the medical centers so hoping the serum creatinine is already covered in regular testing.

@DC1018
For your MIL, it only took 4 days from the IME request to IME passed. Did she use previous medical results? If yes, did you submit it by webform? Thanks!

Check the tracker, receiving the passport back today apparently according to CP

I haven't received AOR yet, and you almost receive Passport back from CIC!!! lol

Big congratulations to you & your family!!
