How are the police clearance certificates submitted when requested? Do cic need original hard copy?

Spoke to someone at Ircc today. He mentioned they have received 1000 and 1000s of file in the past few weeks. And the junior person is checking if theres any missing documents and than he will move the X from the file.
I asked why can people after a certain date can see ecas like why is there no order and its all random. He goes because batches of files are given to different case officers.

He also told me that he can see that someone's (jr. Officer) working on my file and i should be able to see ecas soon.

This is the only application hat I'm having right at the moment

Even though mine was entered by some crazy intern it didn't really speed up any bit of the process.

Are you sure your status is the recent application and not any old one? did you check the dates after clicking on each status?
I am just saying that because i have my old application in ecas...just to be sure as your case is unique it seems

Anyone else got this request ? I may have to provide a letter of explanation since i don't have all the detailed addresses of everyone listed.

There is no 20k cap this yr. This was confirmed by IRCC and also mentioned in the FAQ. Check the link at my signature(visible from PC or by enabling desktop view in mob browser)
