Wow, the response. Just because your application got processed, doesn't mean the entire process is fair and transparent.
Ill respond to this one as well. First to start of by asking you why you think it valid to question your presumptions about his intentions: "just because your application got processed". It's like the logic of a child seriously. Secondly, have you noticed how much time he dedicates to the forum to help people out, even after he got through? What in that makes you think you have any right (or any equivalency with him) to deign to interpret his intentions so childishly as to defend your already base behavior?

So, instead of making a cool speech, try to understand and come up with a better response.
I think perhaps it is you who could try harder. Do us a solid favour, think, reflect, and most importantly, grow up. Then come back and contribute half as positively as @USProgrammer.

It's OK. I understand why they're upset, but I was just providing another viewpoint. I understand why it may come off as trite by someone who already has CoPR, but yes, I was trying to encourage positive thinking.

I'm fine if others disagree.

Like @Canada_Diaries and @MarcioSilva I don't want to question that it is a great chance that Canada is opening for foreigners to settle there relatively quickly. But I am exhausted in this wait.. I put a lot of things on the line. This project froze many other plans because I had to choose at some point and I made my choice with immigration. The 6 months processing time was a key factor in this choice. I'm not the only one who did so.. I crucially need visibility on at least the time all this will be finished to plan accordingly. I ( and not only me) had both eligibility and security listed as not started after the 6 months and just had my eligibility Recommended Pass a week ago! I doubt 20% of people get an answer in 6 months now.. And I'm seeing people aplying in May and getting their PPR now.. I can't help but feel it's unfair that so many other people are still waiting. I already thought about drafting a petition to make our voices heard but thought again that it might just make things more complicated.

So if someone is venting here I will completely understand. Fortunately, only people who exceeded 6 months and are still in the dark are experiencing this pain.

I suggest you to call asap IRCC and ask them about your file, if they confirm that everything passed then ask them to contact your VO and inquire about the fact why are they delaying your PPR.
In parallel if you know your VO, contact them directly through their email address mentioning for sure your file number, your UCI, AOR date, date and country of birth, telephone number...(to skip authentication phase, like you do when you call an IRCC agent during verification) and mention the fact that you were informed that your background check verification passed and you did not receive yet the Ready for Visa email.
Good luck.
thank you @Pura Vida. i will try to get in touch with them. :)

hi everyone..
my aor is 29 dec and i am on ip1 .. there is no chnge aftr dat in my account.. i ordered gcms notes in may and acc to that my eligibility was met and security and criminality wasnt strted. i raised webform and called them once bt they dont tell anythin clearly except i shld wait and they will ask if they will need anything and there is no exact timeline. But this is quite exhausting. what shld i do? is it totally nrml?
Hi, i would say don't worry too much about that. I believe that the current situation is that processing times are a bit longer nowadays. Sorry if it sounds cliché, but be patient and stay strong ;)

This is post PPR. Just called IRCC helpline. I had sent my documents to Ottawa (Passport sent - Jun 25; Passport delivered (Fedex) - Jun 26).

They said Visa has been printed and CoPR has not been done yet. What does that mean? Does that mean passport photos have been accepted?
@USProgrammer or other experienced folks, any idea?

Thanks!
It means exactly just that. Your visa is done processing (i.e., it's probably already pasted on your passport) yet they are still printing out/processing your CoP, which is a separate document (2 copies) with your photo in one of them.

You submitted your original passport, which means you are not from a visa-exempt country. They'll give you a single-entry "immigrant" visa that you will use to enter the country during landing. Upon ladning, the CoPR will then be submitted to the border security officer to be processed further and get your PR status finalized.

Almost there, congratulations!

I agree. I have two friends from Brazil, December AOR (PNP Inland and FSW Inland) that got Interviews Invitations for PR issuance. Unfortunately my review required at CIO Sidney (CB 01126) apparently take way more time between 12-18 months. Who knows, but I found peace, I have a work permit until October/2021 so the PR itself will not make a huge difference in my current routine. Course I'll be super happy, but it is what it is. I just realized that all these efforts of CSE, telephone calls, multiple GCMS Notes are pointless. Let them take their time and do their duties. Hopefullly before October/2021 I will have an answer from IRCC.
