Quick update on my side,

Submitted by Passports for stamping last week on 10th of July, got a message from VFS that the decision envelope has already been sent out to my location! That was pretty fast.

I logged on to my CIC account and I could see that my applicaton finally says approved, and I could see 2 documents updated on my profile. I believe these are the COPR's that I would need to carry along with me

But when you submit Webform, it asks for Visa office. So which VO you selected for Webform, when you do not know the Actual VO.
You tried the webform link that's in your profile right? The one below that says 80% of the application are processed... I don't remember it asking for VO, not sure.

I knew my VO from GCMS notes. Try calling IRCC and finding out.

Hang in there tightly, most applications are going beyond 6 month deadline. So do not panic. Sometimes no news is good news :)
Thanks. You’re right and that’s exactly what we are all doing for last 7 months. Let’s hope this last step is also completed soon.

Good luck to you with your landing.

Hi Sai,
Does that webform link work for you? It just redirects me to the same page all the time.

I sent an email to Ralph Goodale and the answer I got was this one:

Eligibility, criminality, and security checks are passed.
Medicals are valid until Aug 30, 2019.
The file is awaiting final review – medicals may need to be reworked.

Do you think they are waiting for my medicals to expire to send me a request and then tell me about PPR? Doing medicals upfront seems to have worked against me. That's what I've been thinking. My AOR is 5th of December by they way and that would mean basically 9 months processing time.
Sounds like you're just waiting for PPR to be generated. I don't think they're waiting until your medicals expire to send PPR. Hopefully it gets generated soon so you have time to land before your medicals expire.

I suggest you to call asap IRCC and ask them about your file, if they confirm that everything passed then ask them to contact your VO and inquire about the fact why are they delaying your PPR.
In parallel if you know your VO, contact them directly through their email address mentioning for sure your file number, your UCI, AOR date, date and country of birth, telephone number...(to skip authentication phase, like you do when you call an IRCC agent during verification) and mention the fact that you were informed that your background check verification passed and you did not receive yet the Ready for Visa email.
Good luck.

Just got a reply for email to the MP.
"Eligibility and criminality passed.
Security checks are in progress since May 22, 2019. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available."

This means security screening right?
I wasn't asked for CV though.
Alright, Did a bit of research. apparently not every security check is similar. and the super lengthy part only comes into play when they ask CSIS to do a check.
Still kind of frustrated though. As I was thoroughly checked when I applied for my student visa, where I gave my bio-metric info too. After that I've been living in Canada under their watch for four years and they still can't trust me as much as the people who've never set foot in Canada and their security check takes one day.

May i know your VO please. Mine is Sidney, and My security started at the same day as yours. I only had one travel history when I turned 19. Couldn’t figure out any possible reason for me to be in ss. Maybe just slow security process.

Going by the trend these days it is normal... most of the people here are seeing some progress on their application after 7 months or so ... so have patience and keep calling IRCC on regular intervals to keep a check any ADR or red flags raised , in case any for which the information might be missed from ur side
