I don't get this actually..if there is a draw on 19th..the next draw ll be on July 11th..then cut-off ll get increased rite with the number of days in between ?!
no if the draw is on 19th then it will follow 2 weeks schedule from 19th June and draw will be on 3rd july

Or else there will be draw on 19th, 26th and then directly after 2 weeks on 10th July

There is no point in haviing b2b if they keep a 3 week gap after a b2b

Do inland applications take lesser time to process?

Second case is highly improbable. There can not be two b2b draws.

Ideal scenario will be a draw on 3rd July after 19th June.

But prior observation has shown that a b2b draw is usually followed by a three weeks draw. I hope CIC breaks away with that trend.

Hi Mr.pessimist,
It's been a year for me in Canada, posts like yours used to haunt me before landing here.

Guess what, I have landed in a decent job within month, most of my fellow PR's got their offer letters in a month or two.

PS: we are all from Non IT background.
Thanks for spreading positive energy :) This is exactly what we expect from this Ray of Hope forum.

Hello Folks,
Do you know if inland work permit holders still need separate medicals for PR? Earlier when my wife applied for OWP, we were shown a message that "you do not need medicals", which otherwise is mandatory for OWP. Any idea?

Initially, every job is a survival job!
Not that yours had made you a multimillionaire (if it had, you won't be wasting time here).

Besides, struggle is a part of life, be it India, Canada or elsewhere. Takes time to build an empire.

But i guess you were taught that Rome was built in one day... (or maybe you are sour because you gave up on the grind).

Whatever, either bring something valuable to the table or don't bring anything at all. :)
Besides there are Career Councils available in all major cities funded by the govt to help you finding a suitable job, in all categories. And they do conduct "New Comers" events for all new immigrants with the sole purpose of connecting them with potential employers, again not just IT. I think the last one was at Toronto around first week of May.

Hi there.

Though I am married..my spouse would not be accompanying me to Canada. Instead I plan to bring my mother along with me.
Me and my mom have a joint account.

Query 1 :-
What option do I need to choose while creating my EE profile ?
I am aware of the option of spouse accompanying or not but where do I include the option of bringing in my mother ?
