Ok lets say the account is joint with the spouse.
Is it fine even if the spouse doesnt come along ?
Kindly clarify
No, it is not.
The funds should be in the name of people who are coming to Canada. When spouse is accompanying, a joint account does not need any explanation as it is readily accessible by the primary applicant. But an account in the name of spouse has to be surrendered to the primary applicant. In other words, the applicant should be able to have full access over their spouse's bank account and balance.

If one is going alone, spouse not accompanied, all funds should be available in an account in the applicant's name.
Also, the funds should amount to the same value as if whole family is coming.

The reason is that my 2 year old kid is under medication for hypothyroidism. We are taking her to regular medical check-up as per physician's advice. I have all the medical documents ever since this was identified. Currently we do not have a definite timeline of when this condition will be completely cured.

When the immigration officer questions about leaving my spouse behind, I would give them this reason.. wouldn't this be suffice?
Guys can anyone shed some light here plsss... Will this be a valid reason for applying without spouse?

Oh! May the girl get rid of that soon and her health be at optimal levels! God bless her!

And yes, that's a pretty solid reason. :)

June 19 CRS: 459 +/-1
465+ candidates after 12th June draw= 45 approx (at 465 only)
451+ per day addition till 19th jun= 303*7= 2121
Out of this 2121:
470+= 50% of 2121= 1061
(465-469)= 12.5 % of 2121= 265
So on 19th Jun first of all below candidates will be picked:
1061+265+45= 1371
Remaining candidates: 3350-1371= 1979
Due to backlog since 1st May candidates on each position of 464 or below= 325
Hence decrease in CRS = 1979/325=6
Hence CRS = 465-6= 459
However all 459 are expected to clear so CRS can be 458 also

If no draw on 19th June , then CRS for 26th June

June 26th CRS: 462 +/-1
465+ candidates after 12th June draw= 45 approx (at 465 only)
451+ per day addition till 26 th jun= 303*14= 4242
Out of this 4242:
470+= 50% of 4242= 2121
(465-469)= 12.5 % of 4242= 530
So on 19th Jun first of all below candidates will be picked:
2121+530+45= 2696
Remaining candidates: 3350-2696= 654
Due to backlog since 1st May candidates on each position of 464 or below= 378
Hence decrease in CRS = 654/378= 1.73
Hence CRS = 465-2=463
However all 463 are expected to clear so CRS can be 462 also

So CRS would be at least 3 points lower if there is a draw on 19th instead of 26th jun because 19th June draw would be on lesser candidates. 303*7 = 2121 (451+) candidates will be added during 19-26th June
Your calculations are good. Can you predict when can I get invitation with 453?

Hi Mr.pessimist,
It's been a year for me in Canada, posts like yours used to haunt me before landing here.

Guess what, I have landed in a decent job within month, most of my fellow PR's got their offer letters in a month or two.

PS: we are all from Non IT background.
Many people can find survival jobs. They are plenty

Initially, every job is a survival job!
Not that yours had made you a multimillionaire (if it had, you won't be wasting time here).

Besides, struggle is a part of life, be it India, Canada or elsewhere. Takes time to build an empire.

But i guess you were taught that Rome was built in one day... (or maybe you are sour because you gave up on the grind).

Whatever, either bring something valuable to the table or don't bring anything at all. :)

If there is a b2b draw on 19th still there ll be a draw on 26th eh?!..how does this work. Sorry am new to this forum.

That’s a genuine case. You can definitely convince immigration officer with your current scenario. Please do provide all the supporting documents and mention your scenario in LOE.
