Hello All,

I am glad to inform you that I received an invitation for Oath ceremony earlier this week. Its on June 28th. Admin, can you please update.

My journey to becoming a Canadian citizen is almost complete after waiting for close to 9 months since I submitted the application. I am really so happy & excited to take oath for my citizenship. I thank you all for your help in answering any questions I had in this journey.

I sincerely hope that you don't face any hardships in your way to becoming a Canadian citizen.

Thanks again!

"You will receive a
notice with a date and time for your appointment within three weeks of the ceremony date."

We have to wait until they follow up me the oath invitation and don't follow up them again.

Status changed to decision made - not too sure when that was maybe last week sometime. I just look at it this morning. Please update thanks!

Criminality doesn't take very long. It's the security clearance that may take longer.
What’s the technical difference please elaborate
Thanks

Quick Update- Attended an oath ceremony in Saskatoon on Jun 10th. It took 1hour and 45 mins. They just checked my PR card and kept it with them.

Thanks everybody for the help. Congrats to the new citizens and best of luck to the one's who are just about there.

Hey! Don't forget visiting in the US :) Canadians can travel to the country without such an ESTA or something.
