My oath celemony was nice on Jun 4 in Calgary and the process was quick and smooth. My status turned to completed today and I am ready to apply the passport!!

Yes we are given the option of a few different dates and have to give 1st and 2nd choices. This is because there are no ceremonies in Victoria until the fall and we must travel to Vancouver to get the ceremony sooner.

I had applied my 6 year old daughter's citizenship with me as well. The letter I received yesterday is only on my name. Do I need to take her along on the Test date for document verification?

Congrats!! I sent the email back with preferred dates and got the reply confirming date and time the very next day. Hopefully you should hear back by tomorrow or Monday

You don't have to take children to the test - only adults need attend.

Iam writing test on 25 th read the book and major dates are memorized , trying online quiz like

Or
http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citiz Etc and getting satisfactory results but came across some sites that have weird questions involving lots of names and dates please guide if these sites are following the probable pattern and Iam on the right track?

They said there were two ceremonies that day. One at 10:30am and the other at 1:30pm. I wasn't given a choice, they just said I was booked for 10:30am. Maybe see you there
