Here is the schedule on their website:This is really helpful, thank you. I had no idea that there was a difference between the soft landing and flagpoling.
So if we decide to flagpole, is the 'schedule' (T/W/Th) the same at all land crossings? In terms of availability only on certain days.

and yes @MustLoveCats that was super helpful! gonna go to the border today instead of waiting until Tuesday! lol might as well get some canadian groceries while we're at it...
The addressed envelope is for your COPR which looks like a form that you will submit to an officer when you land in Canada. As in, you’ll need that form for landing. You will be required to show it upon arrival to Canada.I'm looking at the requirements on the PPR. It's a bit confusing.
Under "For citizens not using MyCIC and of a country that is exempt from obtaining a visa to Canada" it says send photos and documents to Canada House, and include a self-addressed envelope.
Under "For citizens using MyCIC AND from a country that is exempt from obtaining a visa to Canada" it says just send photos. Nothing about address to send to or self-addressed envelopes - but I assume this is implied to be the same as above, at least for the address.
Anyway, my question: What is the self-addressed envelope for? The CoPR? It's clearly not to return my passport or documents as the only thing I am sending in hard copy is photos.
Oh yeah, I completely assumed not Missisauga because PA is from Mexico. But I could be wrongYes congrats, amazing, 2 months, that's fast for any app! This app was processed in Mississauga though, not Mexico, right @cbego318?
Yes its common for the file to be further forwarded to the PA’s local VO if the processing officer at Mississauga can’t make a decision on your application and needs further processing. The expected time to process after transfer depends on the VO and what is required for your file to come to a decision (could be BGC [Internal or may ask you for more info as GCKey states] or additional review of eligibility [Add Docs] or an interview in severe cases). Since yours is New Delhi its fairly slow but still faster than having your file directly go there from Sydney, NS.Did anyone else got their file moved twice? First to CPC-M and now home country visa office.
I've seen posts of January Applicants getting PPR or DM and i still got my file being tossed around, its so bloody frustrating.
What is the expected time after the file is transferred and what would be the next step?
Timeline in Signature.
Thanks for replying. Is it only transferred when the VO wants further processing on the application and request additional documents or its normally done with no hurdles and just stretch the processing time a bit longer.Yes its common for the file to be further forwarded to the PA’s local VO if the processing officer at Mississauga can’t make a decision on your application and needs further processing. Some cases they may not need your involvement at all and its something internal (like I mentioned earlier) but you can never be too sure with them. There’s a Jan Applicant who was forwarded from Mississauga to NDVO too and got a call from IRCC Delhi for a 10 min phone interview about their relationship even before their sponsor got the second transfer email. This was early May I think. They now have pre arrival and are waiting on their PPR.Thanks for replying. I submitted my passport on the 30th of May and the status says it's still in the High Commission Office.
I have an international trip coming up in 17 days and am tensed if I'll get it back in time or no.
