Yes we had two ghost updates before the PPR came.... after the first one ECAS changed to "we started processing the app on...", and then a few days later another ghost update! So yes, something is happening!

One more question about this... How do locations get maxed out? From what I read on the website you just get asked questions by the officer as you cross? Where can you book appointments? We got our PPR a few days ago so will be going through this process soon hopefully..unfortunately doesn't...

So ..what is flagpoling? When you get COPR can you go to any border or are there specific ones? Is queenston-lewiston the only one we can go to..not peace or rainbow? Sorry for all the questions!!!

Congrats! Being from visa exempt country - did they ask for actual passport or photocopy like people have said?

If you linked your account to CIC account it will be in there. You will get an email notification saying to check your account when the request comes in.

Ya pretty sure that's not how things go as we didn't get a DM today and my husband went for biometrics yesterday... and also I think if you pay for biometrics upfront vs. not doesn't really make a difference. It seems that from here on out it is pretty sporadic who gets what and when! Hoping...

Sorry to hear..Unfortunately (I think I remember reading) you need a police record from anywhere you lived 6 months or longer.. so from Scotland too. That’s what I’m guessing they are looking for.
