I just logged into GCkey- the status is

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We are reviewing the additional documents you provided. ( Previously it was saying it has been uploaded, changed today)
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes. Help - Biometrics
Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check. (Still same)
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.



They haven't asked me anything except the PCC and RPRF. RPRP was paid 2 months ago which they confirmed they received the next day 15 march and Nothing after that and PCC was submitted on 19 march. Any comments will be appreciated or anyone has gone through it

We sent last requested document in Oct (military, etc) and decision made/ PPR in mid April. My friend who sent in application 10 days earlier than me got Visa Dec 2018. There was no communication from CIC at all during that time. I did use webform to ask progress in Jan but they replied it is in the cue. Everyone is different so just be patient. No point of calling or contact CIC if it is within 24 months they say application received.

Please advise, is there any tricks to link application, On ecas it is written that I can link the application for instant messages, but when I entered the information the application was not found. I tried to leave some info blank as it was advised, but it seems it is must to fill all forms. What I am missing???

Question Anyone : so visa office manila sent me additional document requirement and asking for personal history but they didn't specify the year or dates we need to fill up, they leave it blank. My mom is 62 years old, should I start from the time of birth?

I got a request for Police Clearance for my parents today, May 8, 2019 on GCKey account - line 146. My dad is still waiting for results of sputum test and expect 2nd chest xray to be done in June.

Question: the letter on GCKey requests police clearance from China. My parents are from India and have never been to China. Can I assume this was a typo and submit just the India Police Clearance Certificates with a letter attached stating that parents have never been to China? Or you suggest I call CIC / webform to state they the request in invalid and for them to issue a new request?

Hello confusedcanadian...i suggest call them and ask what can you do...its better to send Indian pcc with a letter explaining everything...
