I have submitted my spouse outland application on July 26, 2018, and I got the file number and SA. They transferred the file to India by the end of January. We didn't receive the medical yet, but today when I check the application status its shows decision made. what does it mean? they didn't ask for the medical. Does Anyone have the same situation?
Was your decision made in ECAS?
Was it on the sponsor or PA side?
Everyone applying for PR visa is required to pass a medical exam.

My Timeline for sponsorship of my Spouse and Dependent child

Principal Applicant & Dependent Child:- India
Application Received:- 26th July
AOR:- 06 Nov 2018
SA:- 01 March 2019
File Transferred to Mississauga office from Sydney Nova Scotia: 02 March 2019
Medical Request:- 06 March 2019
Medical Passed:- 13 March 2019
BGC Started:- 26th March 2019 (as per online services portal where I had linked the application)

In the meantime whilst I was tracking our file status in the https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas link I see Decision Made on the Principal Application on 28th March. Yet I see the BGC started/BGC in Progress status in the Online services.

Does it indicate that our file would be transferred to NDVO and then we would be receiving a PPR ? I wonder how long should my family be towards the PPR yet in reality? The online services progress bar still shows the timeline left to be ~17 weeks, oddly enough :(

Appreciate any of your inputs on this regard. Thank you very much in advance

Hi Me and my spouse both are PR.M y wife would not be able to maintain 2 yrs residency requirement due to certain unavoidable reasons. My question for sponsoring my wife for spouse family sponsorship again(after leaving PR), do I need to do all the documentation again since we are genuine husband wife. Can we refer to previous held PR of the wife for FAST PROCESSING

Hi Everyone! I have a question especially for those who received DM. Do we get a message for DM, notifying that there is an update on the profile? Asking because only my lawyer has access to the profile, they only notify us automatically when they receive a email for our profile. There were some cases that I had to force them to check our profile to discover that there was some movement. Thanks in advance.

No. There won't be any emails. If you know principal applicant's UCI (Unique Client Identifier) or Application Number then you can also check the status in eCas; entering date of birth and country of birth.
