Does anyone know how long a PCC is valid if it does not have valid upto date mentioned?

Does anyone know how long the last step of parents sponsorship will take from Federal? last year I won in the lottery and my parents sponsorship application accepted successfully. Medical tests have done, Quebec Selection numbers were taken. Federal asked to send their CVs, CSQs and their police Background certificates which we sent all 3 months ago but up to now we have not received any news! do you know how long this last step will take?

I never received any request for PCC but I submitted PCC upfront for my mum dad at the time when I submitted application back in April 2018.

I can see on my dad's cic account that background check in process but no PCC request yet. May be considered the one we submitted upfront-- NOt sure!!

It was after linking my application. The dashboard view you have on CIC online account. If you click on your application , it has "View Submitted Application" View. WHat is that for ? because it ask you to esign your application and doesnt even show you your submitted application.

That's for "additional" documents such as IME and PCC you sent to CIC. You are not seeing anything because you haven't sent those documents to them yet. All the correspondences are listed on the main dashboard though. That's where you will find IME and PCC requests when the time comes.

did CIC asked for the marriage certificate or you just filed it with your application to be safe. Won't the name as spouse in passport and sponsor(my)school certificates can prove that they are married. Sorry to be so specific but unfortunately my parents got married 35 years ago and getting a MC for their marriage is turning out to be big pain in Delhi.

My husband is Indian and his parents also did not have marriage certificate despite being married 40+ years. So they went to court in India to "get married" again and received the certificate of marriage.... Maybe same thing your parents can do too?

Upfront PCC works as long as they are valid when they do background checks. My parents submitted PCC when they did visa applications. But, it expired last month and CIC requested "updated" PCC.

this would depend on the medical provider you go to and will also depend on the passport office/govt agency you go to for the PCC

The email is from CPCO-FinalRequest / CTDO-DemandeFinale (CIC) <IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca>

You have 30 days to send the passport to the address indicated on the email or to Ottawa.

Hi, if somebody can help me.
1) Do we need to submit parents marriage certificate even if you are sponsoring just 1 parent and the other parent has expired? And no dependants.
2) My birth certificate does not have mother's last name but it is on my passport, will it still be ok? Any additional documents we can use to support?

Got 'Decision made' in ECAS for both. PR application went to decision made on Feb 11.
Pre arrival service email on Jan 30.
But 'My CIC' shows still 'In process'.
How Long it might take to get Passport request?

How does the LVO communicate about medical/police cert requirement? is it by post or by email? and who does it go to? applicant or sponsor?

I received the SA letter by mail. However PCC and IME was requested by email.
