Hi Folks,

Is there any one who has filled in the "Use of Representative form" for their wife or husband Spousal PR application file and was able to link the application to their GC Key. I tried all the options available many number of times and I was not able to link my application. If anyone was successful, can you please share what way is possible to link the application?

Hope some one can help me.

My timeline of the application is:
Application received by CIC: Nov 23, 2018
AOR : Feb 2nd, 2019
Spousal Approval: In Process

Need help..i am sponsor,our application recived nov 20 in Sydney office,got aor1 on my email on 29 jan 2019..Today i check ecas it says a correspondence was sent on feb 11 ,but me and my wife havnt recived any thing by email..
Also 7 days back i put a request query on
Ircc web to change my wife email address as previous one was not working,but havnt got any response.please if someone can help what to expect and how should i approach ircc..

I had only returned what they asked me too and left my application as is. I followed their high lights. I returned it in November and did receive my AOR so I think you would be ok to do the same.

I called CIC to verify I was told that some forms have been updated in November 2018 even the document checklist . So I may need to use the updated forms. I was also told that signatures have a 90 day window before they expire. and since it's past 90 I may need to get all docs resigned.

Strange my ECAS was still in process yesterday for SA status.

Guess, process is different for everyone. I will wait for the email.

What was the status in front of eligibility review between SA and AOR for PA's GCKey account?

The status on my hubby's GCKey was mostly the same, under Eligibility Review it still says "Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

The only time it changed was when they asked for Biometrics on Feb 11/2019 which now says: "We need your fingerprints to process your application. Check your messages below for details."

I tried and it says "We see you have a representative tied to this application. Your representative has access to your application. If you no longer want to use a representative and access the application yourself, you can cancel your representative by filling out the IMM5476 Forum and upload it here".

I am not sure if there is another way to link it while still keeping the representative. However, my representative is proving to be useless as he do not track my application status, no provide me updates and has not even linked my application saying he cannot until he is asked to do so by the IRCC.

I'm thinking to get the control of my application, I do not need a representative at this point (just hired one to help me fill the application forms in 3-4 days and without error).

Congrats! It's just so poetic you got it on Valentines Day! I hope we get our medical today too, hubby and I were joking that maybe our officer attending to our application is just being dramatic and waiting for V-Day to do stuff to our application lol

On ECAS does it say decision made on the Sponsor side? The corrospondance takes a few days to come through to your email normally.

Have you linked your application to GCKEY yet? All messages such as biometrics and medical come through there.

No, he's going on early tomorrow morning. No appt needed apparently, fingers crossed he doesn't have to wait all day there.

He’s British, he’ll have queuing written into his DNA. We love a good queue over here!

If anything in life ever teaches us patience, it’ll definitely be this sponsorship process.

Another question. I got a message from the IRCC saying my application has been transferred to Mississauga for further processing. Is that good or bad?
