Another question. I got a message from the IRCC saying my application has been transferred to Mississauga for further processing. Is that good or bad?

Nope. We still have not received the SA approval email. Biometrics was done yesterday after we got the request on the 12th of Feb. On Gckey our biometric status says completed. On Ecas under SA still reads decision made.

As I said before, not losing sleep over whether we get the email or not. If decision wasn't favourable, application wouldn't have progressed. Plus I have no reason not to be approved as I meet all the requirements for sponsorship.

Extremely good. They actually do their job within reasonable time. Highly likely our application in our case will go to LVO. So prepping for a 5-6 month silence once this happens. LVO is terrible.

On ECAS does it say decision made on the Sponsor side? The corrospondance takes a few days to come through to your email normally.

Have you linked your application to GCKEY yet? All messages such as biometrics and medical come through there.

In my ecas it says same that a correspondance has sent on 11 feb and i am not able to add on Gckey..i have raised new ircc inquiry for updating my wife email address..what to expect next if you have any suggestions?

If you login to ECAS as the sponsor, you should see a bit below that show's the sponsored person's name then Sponsorship Application Status and Permanent Residence Application Status, in this instance, does your "Sponsorship Application Status" say 'Decision Made'?

If this is the case then the correspondence will be your sponsorship approval email. However, there does seem to be a delay between ECAS changing your status and actually receiving the email in some cases.

With regards to the email change, I submitted my new passport via the web form six days ago and haven't had any sort of acknowledgement email back from them yet either.

If you're really worried about the email change and you've not had anything by tomorrow you may be best calling +1 888 242 2100 to talk to an agent. Thursday/Friday seem to be the best days to get through to them.

Any reason why you can't link your GCKEY account? Are you using a representative?

Is it an email stating it’s been transferred there? Or them acknowledging they’ve received it?

If it is IRCC stating it’s been sent then that’s the application being moved to your VO. AOR2 is much like AOR1 and it’ll update in ECAS too.

Looking through the forums, some people don't actually get the AOR2 email and only see the update on ECAS. Here's a useful thread for the different stages:

It looks like it's commonly taking 3-5 days at the moment.

The status on my hubby's GCKey was mostly the same, under Eligibility Review it still says "Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

The only time it changed was when they asked for Biometrics on Feb 11/2019 which now says: "We need your fingerprints to process your application. Check your messages below for details."

For me "Decision made"
"We sent you correspondence regarding this ."
This status changed on feb1st but so far no email or any msg in sign in partner .
Still waiting .
