Yes it was a full hearing. Refusal letter was January 22 2020. We initially had our first hearing in February 2021 but covid, delays and postponements. We finally got it done.

After 3 postponements. We almost waited until August to have our hearing. But we were granted and earlier date which was June 1. I am happy to report our appeal was allowed. Both the ministers counsel and IAD member gave us there decision at the hearing. I am so relieved. Now I know another wait...

Just 5 days until our hearing on April 6, My lawyer just got an email from IAD that our case was postponed. There is no available member to hear our case. Not sure when our next date will be. My lawyer will work on it on it next week. So sad right now this is our second postponement

You have 30 days to file your appeal to the IAD, they usually send you the appeal form with the refusal letter. You will need the fill the form and sign and submit the form with a copy of the refusal letter. I believe now you can submit thru email. You can get more info on this link...

The appeal form comes with the refusal letter. That's how ours came it was attached to the email and it does say appeal must be filed within 30 days of the date of the refusal. Did you receive the refusal as letter?

None of it Makes sense, my spouse also had his interview on January 20th in Accra it was even his Bday. When I recieved the email of refusal I cried for like 2 days. I was distraught, I have been praying for support here with our almost 3 year old daughter. We will overcome.
