if you application was sent in January 2019, then your eligibility period should be Jan 2014 - Jan 2019, Isnt it?another question. my appl was sent in january but the Eligibility period is between 2013-2018. so for the taxes i need to put 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017. Correct. it is not logical to put 2018 since it will be submitted in 2019?
anyways,i strongly believe that it depends on the Eligibility Period provided in the physical calculator.
@sarab321 I said 'no' to mine. I also got my PR inland. The question (9C) focuses on the time during your eligibility period. My address has always been in Canada during this five-year period, so I said 'no'. Travel outside Canada will reflect in your physical calculation sheet. Hope this helps.Hey guys,
I am filling cit0002 form. Please advise what to fill in section 9(c). I got my PR card in canada and only went outside canada for vacation, should i fill No for that section
not necessary . physical calculator time should be the same one as the date put on the application BUT you have 90 days to send the application. So for example my eligibility was from 27-12-2013 until 27-12-2018. i signed it on the 27th as well as the application, but i have 90 days to send it afterwards. that's why i said it all depends on the eligibility period mentioned in the physical calculator.if you application was sent in January 2019, then your eligibility period should be Jan 2014 - Jan 2019, Isnt it?
Yes of course if you are signing your application in 2018, you have to count taxes filed in the last five years i.e. 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. But if you sign your application in 2019, then 2018 will be considered.not necessary . physical calculator time should be the same one as the date put on the application BUT you have 90 days to send the application. The date he landed on Canada, citizenship eligibility is based on time spent in Canada. The visa issue date is irrelevant.Hello To all,
My family and I will be applying for Citizenship this month and we will be mailing it next week.
My husband was a temporary worker (2009-2014), and we got our PR last March 2014.
Our eligibility date is January 2014.
My question is , for the date his status was obtained will be the start date when he came in to Canada as worker or the date on his Canada Visa on his passport?
Do we need to submit all his working permit or just the year that we are eligible for citizenship which is 2014?
I am hoping to mail our application by next week, My daughter will be turning 18 this Feb 2019. I hope there will be no issues for that if they received our application by Feb.
And another situation that I have is, we have gap on our Passport but I already prepare an explanation for that.
Thanks for all your help.
