I do not want to discourage you guys but I doubt anything will help us. Unless we hit 10 months mark IRCC call center agents won't send a single note to CIC.

we have to wait. as for me, i have a suspicion they will not commence seperate security process for both of my application as a consequence of that the pace will be same as security process of paper application. i really hope that's not true.

For the moment, following what @mathansri and @gau55555 suggested.

Attention: Those who are waiting for Security to begin since Oct.

Despite multiple calls and CSEs, we do not know why the delay is happening and the agony is simply growing day by day. Someone on a Whatsa** group suggested that - As many of us should raise CSEs on a day that we all agree (same day), and seek for an update from CIC, which might enforce to them to expedite the process.

Now.. Before you jump the gun.. Yes.. None of us know if this will work. But we thought - Why not just try it out?

Our buddy @Prashant86_2000 was kind enough to prepare the below content. He let all his emotions explode and it was more than 2000 words. Since CSE has a limit of 1500 words, we than have to trim it out.

I propose, Monday 14th January, we all raise CSEs with this content and see what happens. You are welcome to share your thoughts. Please see below:

Respected Sir/Madam,

I had applied for Canadian Permanent Visa under FSW Express Entry Program on <DD/MM/YYYY>.

The Background Check on my application was initiated on <DD/MM/YYYY> and there has been no change, since. I called IRCC help-desk on <DD/MM/YYYY> and was informed that my application was cleared for Criminality and Eligibility and the Security check was yet to start. I could not help but feel intrigued to know the reason for such an unusually long delay in initiation of Security Check.

I have inquired about the status of my application by raising a Case Specific Enquiry and have always received a generic response. As I am closing in towards the completion of Seven (7) months since my Application, I am neither able to figure out possible reason(s) causing delay in my application nor am I able to judge a tentative timeline for the approval of my file.

I completely understand the stringent processes our application goes through, quantum of applications received by CIC and even the resultant processing times. I do not ask for any information more than what I am entitled to. However, I humbly request your empathy towards my situation and help me understand a tentative processing timeline and plan my future course of action.

I thank you for relentlessly working on our Permanent Residence applications and genuinely appreciate the hard work and effort you put in.

Looking forward to receive a response from you.

Are all 40 up for it. It looks like 1-2 batch of people who are stuck here.

We need a majority of us to raise this CSE if there is at all any chance (may be 0 1%) to be noticed. What say 6 p.m. Eastern Time, should we try to create an impact together and see how it turn out?

Consult a different Doctor Arun. Assuming you are in India, you know how doctors sometimes dont want to let you 'go'. If all the docs say the same thing, then you can do a soft landing and furthur move with the process.. Or you can fill the change in circumstances...

Thanks for the suggestion. But here soft landing can't be done as my wife is the main applicant and I can't travel alone without her..!!!

B. : With reference to your query on what Security Not Started folks like us (you, me @Prashant86_2000 et al) can do to feel a little more in control of our fate But yeah, I’d definitely recommend you raise the same CSE today with the exact same words too. Let’s upgrade us from an ark to a syndicate that IRCC must reckon with They NEED to know we know what they did last summer (accept our application with no intent of actually working on them towards a fixed completion date ) - my application, for instance, has been gathering dust since 26Oct18!!!

But, I am pretty sure that it has not started for many of you. I wonder if it is another glitch like all those cases that were approved but they didn't send PPR and then people found NDVO as a loophole.
But don't worry guys at least you know your security has not started, which is much better than being under SS. I am pretty sure that as soon as they start, your security won't take that long and within a couple of days they pass your security and hopefully PPR follows

The pattern of your application matches a lot with mine. Except that they still haven't asked for ADR as of last week and my last activity is criminality passed not security in progress. by the way how are you so sure you are in enhanced SS?
