We don't know yet.Which tax years are going to be used this time - is it 2015/2016/2017 0r 2016/2017/2018? 2018 taxes will have been filed by the time applications are checked.
IRS is for US. Post you message in a US forum. We are having a problem checking earnings for 2016. Is there a website or helpline for the IRS where you can contact them to check what your gross salary was for a particular year? Thanks to anyone who can help with this.
Has to be Canadian taxes. My husband and I just became PRs last year and this will be our first time doing taxes in Canada. Can we use our previous taxes from the US in the proof of funds (as part of the past 3 years’ taxes) to sponsor his parents to come to Canada? Or does it have to be Canadian Taxes?
Dang it. Okay, thank you for the response! Good luck everyone.Has to be Canadian taxes.
Dont understand this. Where does it say that we need to file 3 yrs taxes to be eligible for sponsoring parents? All it says (in addition with age, PR status and living in canada part) is that you should have a salary to support and satisfy Federal income levels for family size. Are we referring to CRA form which asks for calculation for past 3 yrs or something?Dang it. Okay, thank you for the response! Good luck everyone.
