Hi Mkaur,
Have you tried emailing the visa ofifce that sent you the PPR? Try that and include your child's documents too if you want. I read a thread today about how people did that when there was no reponse to their CSE and eventually got a response. I'll try to see if I can find the link.
Thank you Tobs for your quick reply! Yes we sent the mail to Ottawa office too regarding the same but no reply yet. As per your guided posts, we have provided passport, birth certificate, medical receipt, photograph and left with IMM forms and fees to CIC office. We will complete these two things as well by coming Monday. Do you any idea generally how much time they take to process baby’s information because no TAT has been mentioned ?

I have read a few times here and there that there may possibly be a PPR rain on January 19. Do we know where that information came from?

It's all assumptions. Don't rely on such information otherwise you will be disappointed when same thing doesn't happen. It has happened with me number of times when i set my expectations high and was utterly disappointed and frustrated later.

Just wait for your time to come and try to kill time.

It's so strange to see our number of days about to reach 250 days mark. I never ever imagined wait will be so long. I was of the opinion that i would have to wait maximum 3-4 months but it's almost double time and still no response.

God, when you will shower rain for june applicants. I am asking God as i dont have any hopes from officers.

I just got my GCMS note. This is as of Dec 14th. Under security I have only 1 activity, that is security not started. It seems to me there is no redacted page. I cannot see any S.15 or S.16 mentioned around any page. It is confirmed my primary VO changed to CIO now. Last change happened on Nov 16 when I passed criminality.

I have ordered a CBSA note that will arrive on february first week. That will shine some more light on the situation.

Thought to share with you guys @Prashant86_2000 @richa1987 @Nishika22 @Mr_nobody
Thanks for the update man. My notes is due on 7th Feb and CBSA probably 10 days after that. Will update once it is in.

So almost 1 month between criminality pass and gcms date. Security still shows not started. Hopefully it will speed up at CIO.

So, activity 1-5 does not show anything related to SS?
That is a good news. At least you know you have not been sent for enhanced SS. But, why they haven't started your security? I am sure it shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes. It seems no one in CIO touched your file
Actual delay is because of no one touching files for days and at time months. And it is always unexplained which requires a lot of patience to digest.

I received PPR from NDVO on Wednesday and I replied to NDVO and Ottawa to change the VFS from India to Nigeria. I also raised a CSE and I just got the response below:

Good day Xxxxxx Xxxxxx,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Personal information

If you wish to inform the office of any changes concerning your personal information while your application for permanent residence is in process, such as:

  • A change in marital status,
  • Birth or adoption of a child, including grandchildren born to dependent children,
  • You or any of your family members being charged or convicted of a criminal offence,
  • A change of employer,
  • Etc.
Please send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and include:

  • Your name,
  • Your client ID number,
  • Your application (file) number, and
  • Evidence that supports the change.
Contact Information

Please advise of any change in your contact information as soon as it occurs (e.g., residential/mailing/email address and/or telephone number) by using the Change my address online tool.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

Sincerely,

Mxxxx, Agent 4145

I put a call through to IRCC and the agent did listen to me, she was wondering if I have ever been to India before but was cooperative and put me on hold to check the details of my application, she said she cannot see any trace of the PPR email, she only saw the CSE.

When you think that you are closer, they hit you even harder. I am just going to wait and wait now.
After receiving mine from NDVO, i sent a mail to CPC Ottawa as well as Accra. Both replied the next day with another PPR. Since CPC is not replying yet in ur case, try and send a mail to Accra visa office. State your info in the mail.

@Nishika22 I had sent an email on 20th December and again couple of days back ... Today, I Got a reply only for the email I sent couple of days back .. The reply stated
Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.
It's the exact same response that I had got from CPC Ottawa. Who is the agent that replied?

No. There's no specific timeline for that. It can take a few months. Just hope that yours will be reviewed earlier.

Thanks for sharing this. I tend to agree with this more than the call agents as this has more audience that one call center, and this brings more legal responsibility for CIC than call center. However, I should tell you that it is not that crystal clear always. All of the governmental groups and agencies have their own rules when it comes to ATIP (GCMS notes). Also GCMS may not delay CIC from processing but CIC is not alone, they work with other agencies such as CBSA and CSIS. We don't know about their rules and regulations.
Agreed. My only contention is that it's our legal right to order notes - and no call center agent has the right to infringe on ours! If call center agents have no influence either on the processing of an application, who are they to say the other mode of information we have at our disposal (GCMS notes) is holding up our application? It is best that all channels of communication with IRCC are duly respected, and IRCC's own employees respect protocol by not bad mouthing their own agency's information channels.

That is a twitter handle run by an ircc employee like the ircc call center agents who are also employees. Besides I don't think it says anything about how the gcms notes are processed. 'No influence of processing' could mean no influence on the outcome of the application, like approval or denial.
I don't quite get what you mean by 'no influence on processing' may have nothing to do with the timelines. I mean, cmon! Their language cannot be quite so complex that processing refers to eventual outcome and not the process itself (IELTS anyone?) At the end of the day, it's our legal right to order notes - and no call center agent has the right to infringe on ours! If call center agents have no influence either on the processing of an application, who are they to say the other mode of information we have at our disposal (GCMS notes) is holding up our application?
