I received my PCC through the Egyptian Consulate - it had the hexagonal stamp but was accepted. I think the issue may be with translation. If the document is in Arabic only, that could be the reason for the rejection.

Hey @tobs ! Thank you for checking on me :) Still waiting... called, emailed= nothing. I am thinking of writing to Ottawa on Thursday. Just don't understand the hold up in the process once a file is approved. Thank God for this group for keeping me company!

That's awesome!!! Now, let's hope you get the PPR soon. Mine was approved on Jan 3 but still nothing. I don't know what the hold up could be even after an application is approved.
