Calling doesn’t have harmful effects on your application but calling them thrice or twice a month is a complete no no. When you call agents, they have dates in front of them when you made calls previously. If they come to know that you call twice or thrice a month they won’t check your...

Your agent is right in this case. Your medicals are expired but its only in the hands of officer reviewing your file to decide whether to extend your medicals or ask for fresh one. There can be 3 cases : Firstly, Your file is still under process and they require some time before they ask you...

Security only starts once your eligibility is met and criminality is passed. In your case it simply means it has not been worked on. Don’t lose hope as most files these days are left untouched until sixth month and even later.

80% was accurate until March 2018 but after that things seems to have messed up at their end. Few months back they were shortage of employees and before that they introduced biometrics which again caused some changes to process. It will get back to normal timelines soon I guess.

Have you mentioned about it anywhere? If not , they won’t come to know about the same. But you should always try to say truth in your application as lying can cause issues in future.

Actually they have target and they are responsible to some extent to show movement on newer files as well which makes them work on some of new applications as well. Regarding timelines, yes they are running late and are unable to complete processing within specified timelines. I think they...

This is just r10 check. You need to check officer notes to see what’s the status on your eligibility. It would be either passed,met/recommended passed or review required. If officer notes are not present that means your eligibility is not started yet. Also, check 2nd page which gives status...

There’s nothing wrong if you mention as unemployment. They don’t care whether you were employed or unemployed, just enter truth.

    PPR received but late submission

It’s bad that you missed the timelines. You can call and ask ircc if they can do something about it else you have to go through entire process again.

    why delay in pr

These days most people get ppr within 8-12 months so it’s nothing new. They are running behind timelines and only lucky one get it before six months.

    PPR received but late submission

Bad luck ! Your application will be refused now as it is clearly stated in the email that you have to submit passports within 30 days. Sorry to say but they won’t give any extension as you are already late.

I was lucky to get it earlier but I have seen people waiting for more than 10 months without any red flags on their application. They were not under security screening. Their file was waiting for review by an officer where actual timelines comes into play. If you are lucky your file gets picked...

What? Is that reason for rejection? That’s very stupid reason and you should have paid fees when you were asked to do so. Are you sure there aren’t any other reasons? I am doubtful that not paying biometric fees will straight away lead to rejection. Did they ask you again or gave you any...

People who are waiting have their eligibility as met and criminality passed. They are being waited for no reason as they are told their application looks perfect. 20% figure is misleading in most of the cases. I said June onwards which includes all months even August September and October. Let’s...

That’s too too too early to think that way. Majority of applicants from June onwards are still waiting. You should be patient be well prepared for wait till October as things are moving damn slow and only lucky ones get their ppr within six months.
