Hi Friends,

I have recently got Canada PR ( Federal) through Express entry. I have also received a job offer from a IT company. I intend to visit to canada in a months time. I have the following concerns and appreciate your support in finding a solution.

1. Can i bring my mother through Super Visa right now
2. What are the chances and how to apply for something which would help me to bring my mother to canada.

It appears that you have not officially “landed” in Canada yet. Although you have PR visa, you’re not officially a PR until you go through the landing process and get your PR paper. For that reason, I doubt that you’d be able to utilize super visa.

You’re also required to provide option C (tax return) and one year health insurance for super visa application. Since you haven’t even landed here yet, it’d be practically impossible to provide those crucial stuff.

My suggestion to you is to go through with your PR process and then sponsor your mom in three years time.

That said, your mom can always apply for visitor visa and come to Canada with you. That’s your best bet right now.

Hi All,
I am new to this thread!
I have a question that I had send the correspondence letter before the expired date and now we are wondering what would be letter they sent? Any Ideas? Experts please advise! Thanks in advance!

And my ecas still shows application received
  1. We received your application to sponsor on May 23, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 5, 2018.
  3. We sent you correspondence on November 20, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
  4. We sent you a letter on January 2, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Hi. What is the correspondence sent last Nov.20?

Hi. What is the correspondence sent last Nov.20?

As my mother in law is the only applicant, they need the death certificate of her spouse. I have sent the mail before the date they requested for me to submit. Still wondering why? Anybody went throught the same page? Any idea?

I talked to IRCC this morning and they said they know some letter was sent it to us, but they do not know what the content and I was really surprised.

For our case, after we submitted the death certificate, we received a medical request letter. So its either they sent you a medical request or a police clearance.

Hi ,

I just filled out IMM 1344 , when I try to open it back I am seeing an error
"CO -signer Contact Information -
The format you entered in the following field was incorrect .
1: Telephone No (Country Code)

The Correct format is:
Must be numeric and must not start wilth '11'
"

I am not sure how is it picking 11 instead of 1 , anyone else is facing same issue??

Thanks
Hey...was wondering if you got an answer to this issue.

Hey...was wondering if you got an answer to this issue.

hmmm...

Make sure you "tick" the box right beside "Canada/Us". It will automatically fill "1" as country code. If you do not check the box, it is assuming that you are going to enter country code other than Canada/US. That's why it is asking for more than one digit.

So how did you get the request? Via email or mail? Thanks

I have a CIC account, so all correspondence is received in the CIC website. It only sends an email notification that there is an update in my account.

My PGP 2018 sponsorship application shows "Decision Made" and next column PR Application for Parent shows "In Progress"

Further details of In Progress shows Medical Received.

Does that mean that Medical results are okay?

Nope. It means that they have received medical result, but have not made any decision yet. They do not create multiple "decision made" status for PR. They will review medical and background check with police clearance. Then, they will make "one" final decision on PR for your parents.

They have, however, made decision on sponsorship. That's why you are seeing "DM" on SA (sponsorship application) meaning you - the sponsor - met the sponsorship criteria to sponsor your parents.

Thanks YULIA,

I reason for me asking if the medical results are okay is because my mother-in-law had some infection in her lungs which shows as some patches in the x-rays, we did show the previous reports/x-rays and MRIs from the recent medical checkups at the time of medical by panel physician. There is no TB.
