To all September AORs who already got PPR.
Could you please advise if any of you have a valid or expired visa for Canada (any type).
I'm trying to evaluate/estimate the impact of having applied for a visa before on a PR application processing times.
I'm not looking to validate this hypothesis based on just a few examples from you, but on the contrary, invalidate it.

In other words, if many of you who got PPR already, but have no previous visa applications at all, then it doesn't work.

Let's see...
Hey

I actually have a valid Canadian visitor visa.. never used it though.

Could that cause a delay in processing?

@Peacekeeper87 - What is your hypothesis? I am curious!

Frankly speaking with the 85%+ of september applicants remaining ( and SO many including me files has not been touched since MEP), i don't know how they will manage to give us PPR in the remaining 60 days.. before we all reach 6 month.

My query was for those who had PPR already.
I believe you didn't get PPR yet, but no, it won't delay processing.

My aor is Sept 14, mep Oct 11, IP1 since Oct 11. Is there a possibility of moving to ip2 by mid Jan?

The idea was that applicants who have a valid Canadian visa might see their applications processed faster than the standard 6 months, as some of the security checks have already been done by IRCC. Just testing it out... ;)
I don't think this theory holds.

By this theory FSW-inland should be the quickest but that is not so. In fact they are the slowest (unfortunately i fall into this slow group).
