If you are applying to sponsor your parents, then you need to have enough income each year for a family of 5 (not 4).

you are good, don't worry, have enough income for last 3 years even for FS=5 / don't know when baby was born/
#4 is worked cause equal # of adults :)

Hi what if the baby is born this year only? Means baby still counts to the past income?
we still don't know exactly , if baby was born after application was submitted I believe you MUST PROVIDE and MEET income for current year.
Will be Good if somebody can share real experience after baby was born please.
Agents say different info

It depends on how long it has been sitting at the London VO. The following paragraph is from the 2nd AOR I received from SG VO.

"How long will it take to process my application?
Processing times vary. You can consult the processing times for reference at:
www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times
Please be aware that answering e-mails takes time away from processing applications. For this reason, unless your application has exceeded normal processing times, please limit your correspondence to notifying us of changes in your application."

So, unless it has exceeded the estimated time frame for PGP applications, it may not be wise to bug them. But, I'd say it is reasonable to ask for a quarterly status update from them if ECAS/MyCiC does not have any update.

Once it has passed the normal processing time, contact them through IRCC web form first. If the answer is not satisfactory, your MP should be able to get in touch with the immigration minister's office for information and give it a nudge. Even then, CIC has a lot of latitude on how long it takes to process your application depending on the complexity of each application.

So, I'd advise to hold off at least for 3 months before contacting your local VO or MP.

Thanks for your response.
It has not exceeded the processing times as mentioned on cic website, which is 12 to 24 months. But its been over 4 months since file is transferred to London VO, without any additional update. Everybody whose application has gone to London VO are in the same boat, i guess.
Hopefully we get something soon.
Thanks

A baby only counts in the year the baby was born and the year following the birth. It does not count to the previous years. For example, if a baby was born in 2016 to a new couple followed by a second baby in 2018, their family size would be 2 for 2015, 3 for 2016 & 2017 and 4 for 2018. I have seen a letter from CPC-M where they had created their own table specific to the sponsor.
