This is considered as AOR now. My husband got the same request for police request. If you use online tool, should be able to see the progress there.

Seems there is a lot of rotation on CIC and that they hired temporary agent and replace them every 10 days because of the migrants and asylum seekers, That is their way to pay with no work benefit (Pretty odd if you ask me it leaves everybody, inclueding these temporary agent in total confusion). It may explain why we have inconsistant information, and that we are kind of on our own to find updates.

I still dont understand why I can't see nothing on ECAS, tried with UCI, receipt number and application number. Should I enter my info as Sponsor to see if it works?
 
So, they decided to make me wait longer :-
Got update via letter as they forwarded my application to New Delhi visa office for further processing.

I am sponsoring my spouse in Nigeria.
Application received July 13.
No AOR1 or 2,no SA,nothing ever since.
Today my spouse received a mail to upload her updated police certificate,mail has UCI and application number and I was able to link the account immediately,after just 2 attempts. My mistake is with number of family member in the application.
So for those trying to link up,add the sponsor to the PA and dependent if also included.
For example,I have 2 kids and was initially putting 3,and no application found,not until i put 4 and it went in straight.
PLEASE HOW DO I UPLOAD DOCUMENT VIA MY CIC ACCOUNT???

I see from Canada Post that my application package has reached Sydney, Nova Scotia office on July 27th. I tried calling 1-888-242-2100 and it asked me to enter a file number.

Now this might be a stupid question and I apologize if so, shouldn't there be any way to get to know the status of my application whether it is accepted or not or the reason for a delay in getting our AOR. Appreciate your inputs on this regard. Thank you very much in advance

Couple of questions when filling in GCKey.

I have a daughter, but she is a Canadian Citizen, so not included in the application (although I had to send proof in the application). So do I put 2 or 3 as the number of applicants?

Also my full name is Henry Stanford Salmon, so for the given name do I put 'Henry' or 'Henry Stanford'?

I'm a July 19th app - and not heard anything yet, so probably wont work on GCKey yet, but worth a try I guess!

Hi Everyone,
im 4th july, 2018 applicant here, i received aor1 email on 17 oct 2018, but i second aor1 email on 23 oct 2018 about what i don't know what it is, stating that file is pending review by an officer,

"This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of ****** ***** and family (if applicable).

This is to acknowledge receipt of your sponsorship application and to advise that your file is presently pending review by an officer. You will be contacted in the future if further information is required or as soon as the decision on your application is finalized."

anybody has an ideal what does it mean? I'm really worried about my sponsorship application
