So I successfully linked my mom’s application to my cic account just now after few weeks of trying. Here’s what worked for me:

Application number
Mom’s last name
Passport details YOU CAN SKIP IT AT ALL
Intended province and city to live in
Number of family member: me, my husband and my mom = 3 bec she has no dependent. SIZE = ADULTS ONLY / 2 OR 4/
I hope this one helps.

Hi All,

We received Medical request and submitted to CIC; however we still haven't received Police Clearance request.
Question is when do they ask for this document?

Many thanks

Thank you for answering my question , I just want to clarify something related to this issue, So I and my wife + 4 kids + my father main applicant and my mother dependent
do you think I should put the number 8 assuming this will be the total , or should I put 4 which means kids are not included ???
Thank you for your help ,
Try with 4.if not try 3.

I haven't received PCC at all, but ordered it and uploaded together with the medical results (as one pdf document - I've scanned them together) at the SKey. It worked.
I've also did not submit a representative from, just put my email address in my mom's application. It worked as well. They've been emailing all info to me.

My Wife has received a request from IRCC to submit her father's death certificate (english translated and certified copy) for her Mother's PGP Application. We have received the certified (notarized) scanned copy of the document in email from family in India. Should we fax it on the provided number OR wait for the original to arrive from India and then send it by post to provided address.

Thanks

Thanks @ali_2018...just a small doubt..the first Indian pcc I sent with application is dated 7 august and it's valid for 6 months I think...so my parents are coming back from india to canada on 6 Feb 2019...dont you think the pcc will still be valid as it's less than 6 months ...
To be honest with you I haven't encountered this situation but to best of my knowledge I think if your parents application takes little longer time to process then they may come back to ask you to provide BACKGROUND form again or maybe travel history form(IMM5562) which means you need to declare there stay in back home... and they may request you to provide the PCC for that time.

Hi all,

Quick question in regards to PCC upload.

We've received a request to submit a PCC from RCMP and South Korea govt.
So, when we got two of these docs, and tried to upload it through MyCIC account, I only see one field for RCMP Criminal Record Check.

I did combined all RCMP, South Korean govt docs, and Cover letter indicating our file number, and brief explanation of what it is.
However, while uploading the document, there were few things that I was not perfectly sure.

1. Document Valid Period
2. Document Number
3. Country of Origin for Document

For #1, I searched through this forum, and just mentioned it for 1 year; although I have two different document issued date from RCMP, and South Korea Gov, I focused it on RCMP's issue date.
For #3 as well, I focused it on RCMP's doc, so I choose Canada.

For #2, I didn't really have any clue on this, so I just put the number of documents in there.

Did I do something wrong with this? Can anybody advise on this?

Thanks,
