All I care about is I do
NOT want to slow down the application process. That is all I care about. I just want my husband here with me, so if asking for my GCMS notes has
ANY negative effect on our application, then I will think twice about the information request.
Plus, why would would the CIC agent tell me this anyways? Why would she be saying this to be mean if it's not true? What did she have to gain or lose by sharing this?
I have a friend who works for Immigration Canada and I try to not bother her with too many questions. She used to work in Mississauga with Spousal Applications, but has moved to back to Ottawa and is working on the Syrian refugee applications, but I am going to text her and ask her. Because of the sensitivity of her work and because she knows I am sponsoring my husband, she has politely requested for me to not ask her too many questions, it seems they sign a code when joining the department of Immigration and Refugee, but I will ask her and see if she will answer me and then I will post her response. If what this clerk/officer at CIC told me was true or not it's important for sponsors and applicants to know whether or not GCMS note requests hold up the application process in any way.
I do not want to spread false information and stress out anyone reading my posts.
May Allah keep us all calm and patient, while we wait for our loved ones to join us.
