It means you can work till 2020. The eTA is for travelling, if you go back to Brazil or any other country and come back (before getting your PR) you will use it to entry Canada.

Also, it is not recommended to leave the country while waiting for your PR.

But thats weird. Because I have a visitor visa that will expires in 2026 and now a eTA tell 2023. I thought my visitor visa was enough if I leave Canada for a trip

My CSQ from Quebec immigration arrived yesterday by mail and i am able to link my app PR+OWP At last... now i am waiting for OWP Based on this thread it will arrived by next week hopefully.. to help others this is my timeline INLAND-QUEBEC-PR +OWP. Received by IRCC JULY 17, 2018 -AOR AUG 20,2018- sent undertaking to Quebec- aug 30,2018- recieved CSQ OCT 4,2018, link both PR app + OWP oct 4.. hope it helps thanks guys

You won't be able to link before getting AOR1 (as when the application is opened and scanned in the system). Expect 4-6 weeks.

Was able to link the spousal application with the UCI number that I already had before, not the new one CIC gives you in the AOR email.

I also linked the OWP application on my first try. Funny that is says that the OWP application was received on July 17, 2018, not on the 24th.

Well, the wait begins, again...

Im on the same situation what did you do then? For me I m just waiting to find it one day in my box mail, tell me if you do something.
