Also curious, since I don't want to put my spouse as co-singer now, can I request to add him as co-signer after I have submitted my application?
Do I need to do anything to my application so that I can add him later? Such as write a cover letter reserving the right to add him as a co-singer in the future?
NO you cannot add a co-singer latter (but a one can withdraw sponsorship any time). Some conditions applies here, like when family composition changes you can add co-singer, otherwise no.

Hello people.
Need your advise. I received an email letter from IRCC requesting IMM 5669 Schedule A as it is either missing or incomplete. I know for a fact that I have sent this form (12-2012 version) for the PA, Spouse and dependent child over 18. I did not send this form for one sibling who is over 18 and NOT dependent on PA.
I know that a new version of this form is available now (02-2018) which has to be validated electronically and signed by hand.
The IRCC As*****e did not specify if I need to send for NOT dependent sibling also or just an update to 02-2018 version of form or both. They give bunch of BS in the letter about the law but not once word why they are requesting this form.
Please let me know if you have been in the same situation and how did you resolve it.

you needs to send latest form from CIC website for all the required people which is clearly mentioned in Guide.

Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669)
This form must be completed by:
  • you, the principal applicant;
  • your spouse or common-law partner (whether accompanying you to Canada or not), and
  • your dependent children aged 18 years or older (whether accompanying you to Canada or not).

follow instructions, I mailed mine as well :)
I received the PCC yesterday as well, and was also wondering about that, will be so much easier if I send it via E-MAIL, but they are very clear in requesting the actual papers to be mailed to the Mexico VO...

Do you know what the next step would be? Mom passed medical exams, now they request the Police certificate, what next?? :)

Really?
Mom has not worked for the last 25 years, lol
Why do they ask for resume?

Thank you but looks like you did not read my post. All the above point were already complied with. The issue is different.

I went to Purolator today to have them deliver my application and was told they can't deliver to PO Box. What address did any of you use if you used Purolator any other courier service?

Hi, very useful forum. Finally signed up to post.

Here are my timelines, add me in spreadsheet please.

Parents+Dep from Morocco
destination QC (Montreal)
Appl received: 4/12
AoR: 4/19
SA: 6/21, letter received 6/26 with request to apply for QC undertaking (along with CSQ). File transferred to VO in Rabat (MAR)
Undertaking and CSQ submitted on 6/27. AoR from MIDI 7/06
Status: Still waiting for undertaking approval and CSQ

On PR side, application changed from IP to Appl. received and got an email (7/26) from VO asking for CSQ in order to start processing my file.

TLDR, waiting for MIDI to release CSQs. I am wondering if in pgp2018 we have applicants from QC and are in the same situation ? Interested to know your CSQ processing time. Thanks !

Best of luck everyone in your pgp journey.

Hello, with the help from all the member on this forum, I am at the final stage checking my application. Hope to find a second eyes to make sure I am not missing any form or signatures. I am sponsoring my mom (principle applicant) and dad, no co-signer.

Here is what I have now:
IMM1344 Application to Sponsor - 1 copy, two signatures on page 6 (7 is the bar code page) by me and mom
IMM5768 Financial Evaluation - 1 copy, 1 signature by me on page 1 besides SIN
IMM0008 Generic Application - 1 copy, 1 signature by mom on page 7 (the last page)
IMM5669 Background - 2 copies, 1 for mom, 1 for dad. On their own copy, 1 signature required on the last page.
IMM5406 Additional Family Information - 2 copies, 1 for mom, 1 for dad. On their own copy, 1 signature required at the bottom of the page.
IMM5476 Use of Representative - 1 copy, 3 signatures on the last page by me, mom, and dad.
Did I miss anything?
Thanks!!!

The list of forms looks good. Make sure you check the below link to read about the common mistakes in forms/ application package.

Canada Post is the best option, because the address provided on on 5772 is a PO Box and courier companies generally don't have access to those.
Perhaps in guide 5772 IRCC should give heads-up to applicants that courier might not be able to deliver to the provided PO box address.
