I got my local MP to phone them. They are still running a background check and still determining my husband's eligibility.

Aisha Do you think getting the MP to call or sending a letter from them will help ?

Also we are considering now to get the notes hopefully we would get an idea where the application stands.

Hello people. My husband who’s sponsoring me is planning to apply for US tourist visa.
Can someone guide how easy is it for canadian PRs to get a US visa considering the current situation.

I am late august 2017 applicant and when I login to GC KEY there is zero progress.

I received GCMS notes end of May and it said nothing has started, I did sent an email out to them in April and received reply that it is awaiting full review.

Based on what I see here that even Oct. applicants are getting PPR, should I contact the local MP as there is zero progress on my case?

MP will not do anything until you pass 12 month mark as that is the official timeline. if you go to MP, they might inquire on your behalf but they will get same response as you would in email for the most part, they cannot really give you any useful info from what i have read from previous users on this thread.

Thats over 10 months. I too believe contacting an MP wouldn’t help. They usually ask you to wait until 12 months.

I would say be prepared for an interview. Hopefully that never happens. But another applicant with the same red flag was placed in an interview queue after 10 months of waiting.

There are chances but it’s not always the case. I know a guy got visa in 10.5 months with second marriage and age gap both

I would say it’s a good sign you will probably get a decision as soon as your medical examination report will be received by LVO

Hey Posse and everyone else im a Jan 2018 file transferred LVO April 27 recently cookieraider and his cousin have inspired me from sending voluntarily communication proof since hes only one month ahead of me seems like its worth sending them updated communication and financial support from JAN-JUNE ... i have prepared 3 pdf files all adding up to 5mb what email should i send it to and does any one have a sample they can share i cant remember someone recently did so i can send them the email and ask for an update as well btw im the sponsor and do you think its worth sending them voluntarily ? thanks in advance!
