Does the principal sponsor need to meet the income requirement alone? or is the co-sponsor applicant income considered as well?
IRCC assess the total household income for LICO so if the principal sponsor's income is sufficient enough, then you may not need the co-signer's income (your spouse if he/she is working). If the main sponsor income is not enough, it is better to get the co-signer

Hello VertigO,

I faxed the death certificate at the same day as you, and last Friday my sponsorship status changed to Decision Made. I guess yours should be same. What you can do is, using your own UCI(you can find it in the letter asking for death certificate) and other information to log into CIC online service, you will see the decision made,

You are lucky

Nothing yet for me. No update onlinr or emsil. Online tool shows.. request for document was sent.

Is there a way to find out if they got my fax. I have also sent the dicdocume via mail as well

Hello,
I submitted my application package in April 18 and in Cic site it’s showing that they started to review my application on June 08.

Does anyone know how long does it take for parents to get the visa per 2017? And should parents do medical check to get the visa?

Another question:
I can not link the application to the account I created. It says there’s no application found with the info I add. Neither my name nor my parents name is recognized as applicant. Does anyone have similar experience?

And what AOR?

This google docs spreadsheet created by a good member here show you roughly what the timeline looks like for 2017 (and 2018 as well)

May be you can try again sometimes later. There is a delay between the process and the status update.
AOR is Acknowledge of Receipt, a letter that IRCC advises you that it has received your application

I can't link my application online , do we have to put number of dependents same as that of application or just who are in file?

I have a question to the ones who got their AOR’s. when you’re checking ecas after aor, do you guys see if it says “we sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application” or just application received?

no change in status after cic received your file and after you received AOR, the status is that we(cic) received your file on which day.

My Sponsorship was In process since 28 of May, turned into Decision Made on June 3rd. So far no 3rd line appeared and did not receive any email.
Surprisingly, from today PR shows - In Process from 13th of June!!!!

Anyone can tell me that it’s normal!!!
