I did upfront on Jan. 30, then got two medical requests after that. Sent multiple web forms with proof of medical, and it is not passed yet.
Try to call them. because the maximum time for deciding about MR is 90 days. If it has been exceeded 90 days, they have to tell you why it has delayed.

Thank you. I tried 3 times today and did not get through.
How do you know that the maximum processing time is 90 days?

Hey guys, how long can someone live outside of Canada being a permanent resident of Canada? Because I am planning to go back to my country for a while after I get my PR considering I get approved. Thanks!

why are you so sure?
The background check is not passed, it probably hasn't even been initiated yet just like with all of us, sitting at that final stage for a few months now.

Well, I have seen lot of cases recently and all of them have received their PPR (people in this forum as well as on other tracker website) approximately within 2 months after their medicals is passed.

We have people who have been waiting since early January. That’s inexplicably long for the final stage.
