Bro, It is very difficult for us to understand your situation but, mera khayal hai aapko thora sa sabar aor hosla rakhna chahy. dont withdraw your application instead get USA visa and plan US trip in those dates jab aapki Mrs expected hain. InshaALLAH agar ALLAH pak ne chaha to you will get visa before time but dont loose hope.
ALLAH pak ke har kaam mai bahtaree hia aor yehi aap se request hai dont loose your patience. You are such a good humble person and waiting from the last 8 months, thora intizar aur sahi but get an alternate of this situation by trying US visa , Can visa can be pasted from US too. :) Make a plan to stay close to your wife ,,, just a suggestion.
ALLAH Mehrbaan hai. :).

@Bryanna @Omairi7

I have confirmed My application is still in BG check coz they’re doing some GOD DAMN “additional mandatory verification checks” god knows what..... this is getting crazy
I’m started to getting pissed now I mean just single TRV and 8 months has passed they f** doing additional checks.... there’s no damn time frame.
My wife’s condition is not good and I’m just hopeless now. Bryanna do you think if I have any other option should I tell them my wife is pregnant (via) MP or any other other option maybe ?

Otherwise I thinking to withdraw my application :mad:
Simply do NOT withdraw your application. It will not help in any way.

You've survived this far.... just do not lose the hope.

Any idea what has happened to your GCMS notes? Did you write to the office to ask about the delay in issuing it?

I agree with Omairi7.

Do you think you could apply for a US visa? Or drop the idea of applying for a US visa (the US and Canada share information - and we don't know why your TRV is taking so long).

So maybe you should apply for a UK/Europe visa and your wife can meet you there. It would also help as proof for your PR application

@Bryanna
There can be 1000s of reasons for applying to US. Register himself in some exhibition or conference relevant to his field and try to get the visa. Yes if embassy asks about canadian trv he simply can answer that they are under process. I mean He must try to get close. Being a father of a kid and away from wife is really hurting :). There is nothing bad in taking chance as he is waiting long, why not 1 more ;)....Anyways it all depends on him how he will feel better.

I understand his situation and I feel so utterly sorry for MrMoody90. I can only wish that he gets a decision soon.... and no one else goes through this kind of situation. IMO, it is better to reject someone outright. So that s/he can reapply with a stronger application.

IMO, MrMoody90 will eventually get an approval. These difficult times will pass.

I feel he should not apply for a US visa. It is beyond me to understand what and why he is being investigated so intensively for his TRV. As the US and Canada share information, it's best not to a take risk. We don't know why his background checks are taking so long/or what security concerns are being investigated

@Bryanna do you think if my wife contact her MP and let him know that she’s pregnant and expecting in April would help maybe ?
The MP cannot influence any visa decision. Did the MP's office reply to the email she had sent shortly before Christmas?

There seems to be something in your file which makes the visa office to investigate your background so intensively for security concerns. That would explain why you have not been issued GCMS notes as yet. Absolutely no idea why there are such intensive checks in your case. Maybe because you lived in KSA for several years.... or something concerning one of your immediate family members.... or maybe it is a case of mistaken identity (the last one seems most unlikely though).

Perhaps it would be best if you return to Australia. This would indicate that the ties you have declared to Australia are indeed strong and subsisting.

Just a thought:
Could you get PCCs from each of the countries where you have lived for more than 6 months. And submit these to IRCC. This would help at least one aspect of the background checks even if IRCC has already sought information about you from those police authorities.

PCCs apart, IRCC has probably sought information about you from other sources as well like Australian National Security, US Homeland Security, etc
