I am an October 27th applicant. Our medical has been passed, schedule A and PCC uploaded as per GCkey. Still waiting for file transfer.

im oct 17 applicant, my file transferred after exactly 3 months (92 days)

A question for you since the sponsor is receiving emails and mails on your behalf did you put his name down as a representative as well and fill out the representative form?
I am asking this question as ME the Sponsor have not submitted the "use of representative" form since we did not have a person representing us like a lawyer or something. Although according to my watsapp group people are in the impression that if you want to deal with all the communication on behalf of the PA u should submit that form.

Have you done that or not?

Hi no I didn't have sponsor down as my representative. I've now also received a letter from Singapore confirming they are processing it. But still no medical!

It’s Manila Visa office. Almost two months now and no update yet

Yeah, most probably it takes time.

We actually don't have a clue either. I think there should be a request letter from your VO office (AOR2) which confirms your app and requests your documents, this just happened to us. And we are waiting for multi PCC at the moment. I guess after we mail all the requested docs it gonna take 2 more months to do background check and so on. Just be patient and see what happens... Good luck!

Well, we have received the letter from VO informing that they are processing our file and so on. But there were no requirement of any additional document like PCC/ medical. I already collected my PCC from 2 separate countries in advance for saving time. We also submitted our documents for getting provincial nominee from QC authority. Actually little bit worry because of not getting any response from VO. What we understand as you said we should wait and see and hope for the best ..............

Around this time a lot of October applicants will be getting their files transferred from Mississauga to a visa office that is closer to where the PA is residing. "File transfer" is what we call this and is accompanied by an email notifying you of where your application is going.

Note - you dont always receive an email to state that the file has been transferred nor an AOR2. You will know if the local vo is working on your app by seeing an additiona line in ECAS stating "we stared processing your application on xx-xx-xxxx"

ECAS changed to in process January 20th... Whatever that means!

Some people have reported never getting an AOR2 E-mail, but the changes in ECAS do mean that your case is moving along.

ECAS changed to 'in process' for Permanent Residence Application Status, but no AOR2 yet or third line once you enter the actual page, last update was "Medical results have been received".
anything is better than nothing I guess ! LOL
Should we expect a line stating "we have begun processing your application ...." ?

In our case it has taken 12 days after getting the file transfer e-mail.
