Yes checked sponsor ECAS and it says DM but the official letter isnt there yet. And that worrying me.

Great. When did you apply and what is your VO?
I know of a october 3rd applicant whose file got transferred on jan 8th.

Sponsor (Also unpaid representative) had submit the IRCC form for making the correction. Actually I (PA) am living in Bangladesh and in ECAS they have made the mistake (Didn't put street name & no.) in my mailing address. Hope they will make the correction at soonest possible time.

So, to whom VO will send the hard copy of medical request? Did they send the hard copy of medical request in your case? I heard that VO will send the hard copy of medical request to the PA's mailing address, is it right? Please share your experience.

My husband got the medical request through GCkey, and printed out the form and brought it to the exam. Then the physician submitted everything through e-medical. From what I understand everyone gets the medical request through gckey, they would only mail it to you I suppose if you opted to be contacted by mail only and didn’t link your account.

Who sent this letter to you? If the letter you have received from visa office then it is AOR2. If the letter you have received from case processing center then it is AOR1.

My sponsor has been notified that our application has been transferred to the Singapore visa office and that background check has commenced. BUT I have still not received any medical request! Doesn't that request usually come from Canada before being sent on?

And does anyone know if the Singapore office will communicate requests to me through the online thing (cic) or email?

Any change on sponsor's ECAS since? I would imagine they are slowing down during holidays. According to spreadsheet NO ONE got SA since Dec.22, so hopefully they are simply delayed due to holiday, but nothing wrong on your part. Sending you good vibes!

Still nothing, total silence as far as Sponsor approval or otherwise.
Do I need to contact them somehow or just sit tight and wait? If contact them - how do I do it from outside of Canada?

@Alex54321 , this is the number we can call from outside of Canada. 613-944-4000. I guess you have option to use webform thougu, but my husband asked a question on December 13 through webform and they did not respond until now. So who knows how long it will take for them to reach you if you use webform.

I have seen this happen a lot...ECAS being more accurate than GCKey.

Thank you so much @canadian2002 I hope the October group is a lucky one! Im still curious about how the time line might work. In the excel sheet it completely varies doesnt it? Anywhere from a few days to a month or so for a DM or PPR.

No we didn’t get the pre arrival services letter yet! I agree it’s all over the map. Some people also seem to get pre arrival letter along with PPR others almost a month before, it’s hard to understand where you are for most of the process but I guess that’s part of it! We’re all getting a lesson in patience that’s for sure.

A question for you since the sponsor is receiving emails and mails on your behalf did you put his name down as a representative as well and fill out the representative form?
I am asking this question as ME the Sponsor have not submitted the "use of representative" form since we did not have a person representing us like a lawyer or something. Although according to my watsapp group people are in the impression that if you want to deal with all the communication on behalf of the PA u should submit that form.

Have you done that or not?

In your GC key, the status for background check will change to “we are processing your background check”
