No problem! Our VO is also Vienna, I (sponsor) got an email from CPC M that the app will be processed in Vienna but we never got the “traditional” AOR2 to the PA’s email. So we took the line in ECAS as AOR2. It seems like Vienna doesn’t usually send out a letter...

Alas!! No AOR for me yet. I am Oct 31st Applicant. Any suggestions - should I be chasing with CIC or wait patiently (impatiently though). Other thing is if I choose to call CIC, I do not have file number yet so they won't be able to check through my case.

Is there anyone else from Oct who hasn't got the file number yet..

1. We received xx application for permanent residence on October 11, 2017.
2. We started processing xx application on December 4, 2017.
3. We sent xx correspondence on November 23, 2017. If xx has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have xx do so as soon as possible. Please wait until xx receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
4. Medical results have been received.

And it’s 2. that we took at AOR2. You’ll also hear it referred to as “the third line in ECAS” because it’s usually the third thing to show up.

Yours is fast. We haven't got requested for PCC, and our app has been tranfered to VO office which I don't get it...

They should also be able to look up your case by the receipt number, if you have it. (the receipt from paying the application processing fees)

Hi Everyone!
Just joined the group so I hope it’s ok if I just ask a question specific to my situation.
I’m Canadian and my husband is German and we are living in Germany - have been the last 7 years.
We have planned the big move back already and we would already be leaving in March. If he enters Canada as a visitor then I submit the paperwork for his sponsorship /open work permit at entry, is there anything that needs to be taken into consideration? I’ve spoken to immigration Canada via phone and that’s what they suggested rather than applying from Germany since any interview etc would then have to be conducted here if I submit an Outland application.

What would you suggest? Does it make sense to already send my applications? If anyone has any info it would be really appreciated. Trying to get in touch with anyone at cic/ircc seems to not be super easy if you’re not in Canada unfortunately

My husband got the medical request through GCkey, and printed out the form and brought it to the exam. Then the physician submitted everything through e-medical. From what I understand everyone gets the medical request through gckey, they would only mail it to you I suppose if you opted to be contacted by mail only and didn’t link your account.

Actually I have sent an e-mail to VO explaining the situation day before yesterday and VO office corrected the address in ECAS, also replied on e-mail. So, everything is fine now. Anyway VO will get the IRCC web request also.

Btw, we also created an account & linked our application and getting updates in GCkey.

My sponsor has been notified that our application has been transferred to the Singapore visa office and that background check has commenced. BUT I have still not received any medical request! Doesn't that request usually come from Canada before being sent on?

And does anyone know if the Singapore office will communicate requests to me through the online thing (cic) or email?

Our file is also processing in Singapore VO. Usually VO will send the request for medical exam and it is confusing like someone says VO informs through GCKey and someone says VO sends the request letter to PA's mailing address.

So, did you submit your PCC after getting request from them? Surprisingly don't know why they didn't ask me to give them the PCC yet....

@Alex54321 , this is the number we can call from outside of Canada. 613-944-4000. I guess you have option to use webform thougu, but my husband asked a question on December 13 through webform and they did not respond until now. So who knows how long it will take for them to reach you if you use webform.

Now looks like my turn with good news (for us).

The ECAS has an update "Decision Made" and GCKey has Medical Exam request with attached "IMM 1017E" form as of 01/11/18.
