I called that number and got to the stage where the IVR played my application status but when I opted to speak to someone I got a IVR message that the agents are currently busy and the call ended. Not sure if I should try again.

My file was moved from CIO to London Visa Office on the 21st of August, and yes i sent a mail to CPC Ottawa asking about where my file is been processed. Ottawa replied 48hrs later, confirming my file is at London visa Office. How about yours? Thanks and Godspeed to us all as we wait!!

Congrats, that implies that your eligibility is probably done, you should be getting ppr very soon. Mine is still at CIO. Was informed that it hasnt been transferred. Hoping for some movement this week. By the way, i am wondering why yours wasnt transferred to AVO since the general idea is that it is transferred to a VO located or close to your country of residence or are you presently in the UK? If not, then its probably a load sharing technique. I know @omotola's file was transferred to Pretoria S.A and upon enquiry, got to know thats where she currently stays.

Hoping for some movement this week. What exactly happens when the file is transferred to New Delhi Visa Office?

True....our passports still get stamped there, but the processing goes on in London and Ottawa from what I have seen so far. Last year even somefiles posted to AVO from September got re-routed to London...
